The question became whether Yeldon was in the same league as Gurley. I say he isn't. I say the same about Hill. Doesn't mean they aren't solid starters, just average SEC backs.

Not sure about the best in the entire country
I guess it all depends upon what you deem important in a back.

I´d take him over a scat back anyday.

I think he´s the country´s best.

Unfortunately, he can´t solve our D woes, nor temple Murray at times.

It's the use of average that is bothering people. Gurley is better than everyone else. But that doesn't make everyone else "average" by comparison.

OK I agree that they arent in the same league as Gurley. But, just because they arent as good as Gurley doesnt mean they are "just average SEC backs"

A RB is only as good as his offensive line.

he´s a 220 champ. I think his 40 is in the high 4,4´s.

ETA or slightly over 4,5

That's my whole point. Gurley is playing lights out even when his line is missing on a few plays. Yeldon and Hill wouldn't match his performance behind the same blocking.

If it makes you guys feel better I'll call Hill and Yeldon above average while Gurley is elite. The only reason I use the word average is because we're discussing the top tier of NCAA backs. They're all good by any other standards.

Yeldon and Hill are above average RBs man.

In regards to the top tier backs in the NCAA, Gurley is on top in a league of his own. But, Hill and Yeldon are still some of the best backs in the country. Hell, the only RB that I know of that is flat out better than Hill/Yeldon is Gurley.

I agree, I just think the gap is pretty big, as it was with TR. Again, when I say average I'm talking in terms of a big time SEC back, they're all elite in terms of the position or they wouldn't be starting for top SEC schools. I can't think of anyone else better than those two either.

I remember when the OT had a hottest girl in the world tourney, and she lost to Natalie Portman. I was like WTF... I get Portman is hot and cute and all that, but Candices nickname is the Body and is 1 of the hottest girls on the planet.

Shes a Victorias Secret prodigy haha
