You say this as fact but I'm not sure you have the experience to state it as such.

Tennessee guys, can you confirm?

No problem. Glad I could help.

We'll probably start setting up between 9am-10am, shouldn't be too bad then for those lots.

Nope. I kinda wanted to because I have not been to the swamp since 2011 but my football enthusiasm was pretty low coming into the season.

This thing isn't going to be sold out is it? I was on stubhub today and there's end zone uppers available for like $40 and corner lowers under $100.

A lot of people aren't coming because they're attending to their houses that were damaged (we have a lot of fans come from South Florida for games).

Plus, add in the fact that we think we have no offense, I think a lot more people than normal are opting to stay at home. I'm there regardless because I am not a fair weather fan, but I may take my sweet arse time getting to the game.

Come on down, not too late... maybe for a hotel, but you could easily be half-way home after the game ends and find one.

It is, but not for this reason.

Gainesville is like most campuses, if they see you poor beer into a cup, you will have you pour it out. If the same cop sees you do it again, you get a ticket for pissing them off.

On the other hand, if they don't see you fill that red solo cup (they know what's in it), they don't care unless you're being an arse. Show them some respect by not flaunting it. Don't be an arse. You're good.

Burrito Famous isn't closed, you're thinking of Burrito Bros

I was tempted but both of my buds that I go to games with were not interested in going and I am not about to head to the swamp by myself and without reservations lol.

I went in 05, 07, 09 and 11 so obviously VOLS cannot win when I'm in BHGS so instead of driving 8 hours just to make them shite themselves again, I'll just watch this fixture from my living room and maybe start the official game thread

4 trips is pretty good. I've been up to in '04, '06, '08, '10, '12, and '16.... skipped '14 to go to Vegas instead.

I may go next year, may not, I went to every single Gator game last year and man it was exhausting.

Just don't be a dumbass and you'll be fine. I enjoyed my alcoholic beverages both outside and inside the stadium when I went to Gainesville.

This is what I don't like about attending games in person, too many loud idiots who have had too much to drink.

It's really sad when fans do not have the freedom to enjoy game day like that want to. Just another way for the city and state to make money

The city is looking at allowing open container midtown and downtown on game days so hopefully this is the last year they're "strict".

Pretty much this. Drink at the bars if you want just don't drink while you cross the street on the way to your tailgate. Then start drinking again at your tailgate. I've never had an issue but maybe it's an adjustment for visiting fans who are used to open container everywhere.
