Notre Dame has the #1 class for 2023 at the moment. By your thought process on the matter, it’s because of Kelly right?

Nope, it's the 2022-2023 cycle, so it certainly matters. It means the kids actually want to be a part of the program and they're not being pressured by an impending signing day deadline.
Frankly, it tells me they now recruit better with him gone.

The fact they're still committed for the 2022-2023 cycle just shows that the Notre Dame brand was what was doing the recruiting and not Kelly.

I mean, I have no reason to make excuses for LSU having the 43rd ranked recruiting class in the country. That's just the reality of things.
That being said, being an Arkansas fan...I get it. When you start to watch your entire athletic program go on a downward slide, the natural reaction is to lie to yourself. The next thing you know, you look up and you're mediocre to bad in every team sport that matters. Now that our athletic department the belle of the SEC, it's a little easier to have pity on LSU. I wish y'all nothing but luck.

Just let them believe man. I think everyone but Arkansas fans realize that they will not even be in the top 10-15 after it’s all said and done and that class is wrapped up. Let them live in the moment.
