My thoughts are that Myles Garrett should be replaced by Derek Barnett.

Jalen Reeves Maybin is the best returning LB in the SEC so that list is full of shite.
JRM 105 tackles, 14 TFL, 6 sacks, 2 FF, 2 FR
Davis 98 tackles, 11 TFL, 3.5 sacks, 1 FF, 1 INT

Barnett wouldn't even start here vs Daeshon Hall

Barnett has 18 sacks vs SEC competition.
Garrett has 9.
Garrett has 9.

And Daeshon Hall has waaaaaaayy less.
It's a losing battle trying to argue with a homer though.

Chubb > Fournette
Fournette has moved ahead. If Chubb stays healthy, then maybe he can catch back up.

Anybody have a brick to toss at this idiot?

S Marcus Maye (UF) 77 Tackles, 2 INTs, 2 FR, 4 FF
Donovan Wilson (Texas A&M) 63 Tackles, 5 INTs, 2 FR, 3 FF, 2 Sacks and 1 TD...he wasn't even a starter.
One played for a good defense. The other didn't. Probably why they gave Maye the nod.

A&M had the 2nd best scoring defense in the SEC West.

Barnett faces the SEC East, Garrett faces first round tackles every week in the west.

OJ Howard, Calvin Ridley, Eddie Jackson, and Reuben Foster all have legitimate arguments.
Only Ridley really does. The others are great and should likely be preseason All SEC they just aren't the best going forward

J. Allen also has a legit argument, although he hasn't been mentioned yet.

I was about to come in here and post this. Godchaeux is awesome but Allen was a monster too. I don't see either one being noticeably "better"
I would consider Allen closer to DT than DE given the role he plays.

Christian Kirk over Calvin Ridley? GTFO

DT: Davon Godchaux, LSU
He's criminally underrated by non-LSU fans and LSU fans alike. I'm glad to see he's finally getting some recognition.

Sounds like your coaches are dumb. No wonder you guys suck when your best players sit on the bench.
