He is honestly my favorite on air personality at ESPN. Very good at what he does, for sure. He seemed a bit robotic at first, but he's grown into the role exceptionally well.

Haha. Good analogy.

I'm still not saying I like him personally though. Jury is out.

But I respect him as an analyst and the job he does on the SEC network.

Not sure why anyone is surprised. He was always intelligent, and there was talk of him being any analyst even before he graduated, due to the way he handled interviews and other media appearances.

Most didn't know that. I don't watch bama player interviews, can't recall ever even seeing Gmac with his helmet off or doing anything other than playing when he was a player.

He is far and away the best analyst they have on the network. He'll be on Gameday before too long.

Not in my lifetime.

In my lifetime AU is bamas Daddy. And frankly that is all I care about.

Anyway, back to Gmac talk!

I think greg is the best out of the bunch even though he is a hog homer. I love dari and after I watched and listened to marcus spears I realized he is also very insightful and was a very respectful analyst. I do believe booger is the worst of the bunch but he is coming along.

In 2010 when Au was playing in the NC, he did an analysis piece for ESPN, sounded better then, than Jesse Palmer at the time. He's a natural when it comes to what he's doing now. He should have a long career.

I like GMac but sometimes he sounds like he is taking a sip of a slurpie from 7/11 while he talks. Like he has drool seeping out and he has to suck it back in.

I was thinking about that when I made the post about not saying I like him personally. I definitely have not forgotten.

I'm pretty pleased with GMAC. I think he has done a pretty solid job. I say this because one day I would like to smash his sister

I'm glad he isn't trying to act like he's from the South. He's from Los Angeles and he's starting to act like it. I think we expect him to be very confident in his position as an SEC homer and that's the persona he's been delivering lately. He was a bit awkward at first but I think he's finding his groove.

GMac is very good. Happy that he played for Bama. Marcus Spears is my favorite analyst though.

I like him. Last year when he was breaking in he was a stiff, almost robot like but he has gotten better.

I. Think. He. Does. A. Good. Job. But. Pauses. A lot. And. Sounds. Like. He. Inflects. Often. And. Over. Does. It.

But, in all seriousness. He aight.
