Perhaps. But, I do me and let others do themselves.

I don't "owe" anyone payback for a hypothetical slight

He is not very good at this point, but I do expect him to improve.

If he was not a Bama player this wouldnt be a problem for most of you. He has been on the job for a short period of time. Give him a chance to grow on the job. He has been relatively objective.

Let's give Greg a break.
It is hard to talk with your mouth full.

He has the potential to be the next Tim Brando, in terms of homerism.

Sadly, he lacks Broand's unique charm.

Or Johnny Manziel attempt to play against an LSU defense.

Seriously, I guess the rant would prefer a scholar like Craig James. I personally never cared for a lot of the things he said as a player, and he may end up terrible, but I think it's a little early for the hate. Prettttty sure it has a lot to do with the whole Bama thing..

At this point he is awkward. But it isn't because he is an Alabama player that people don't like him. He is just awkward. I do wonder if former players are the best choice. Some work. Most don't

Work:
Blackledge Penn St.
Herbie Ohio St.
May Pitt
Gilmore Stanford

Don't:
Tebow Florida
Ware Houston
Alberts Nebraska
Kannell FSU
Jesse Palmer Florida
David Pollack Georgia
Spielman Ohio St.
King Tulane

He is a developmental commentator that needs to be covering ACC football.

McElroy is 26 years old and is just starting out as a commentator... he is doing well and will improve. I bet nearly everyone on the rant wishes they had the opportunity that McElroy has when they were 26 but let the hate flow like wine you miserable sons of bitches
