Except that Drew Brees is widely regarded as one of the nicest dudes ever and Mayfield is a raging dickbag.

You’re an idiot. The same unathletic guy that beat a top 10 tennis player as a junior And can dunk. Yeah, has no ability

Hope he ends up with the Saints with a year or two to study under Brees. He'd do really well in their offense.

You know, now that you mention it... Mayfield does sort of remind me of Casey Pachall somehow.

Alabama Natty champ alum says Baker is the next Drew Brees. If you watch college football on ESPN all day you can catch fun facts just like this. Shout out to McElroy for speaking the truth.

I remember another Oklahoma QB being touted as the next great thing. Remember Sam Bradford?

Crap. The PAC 12 turned you away, why would we take you?
You're lucky they let anybody join this board or you wouldn't be here, either.

Because you would get your brains beat out....or is it because you prefer playing in a conference thta hasn't won a Title in 12 years instead of one that has won 8 of them?

OU would be popped for recruiting violations within five years.

Drew Brees is pretty good at beating Georgia teams. RIP Bulldogs

Last 10 games the Saints are 5-5 against the Falcons and Brees is 0-1 against the Bulldogs, so I'm not real sure where you are getting your information. I guess he does ok.

ok? Are you saying they are protected in the BIG 12, or that they would not be protected in the SEC?

I keep reading this narrative. That isn't accurate. It's my understanding that OU will not move elsewhere without Oklahoma State and also lets not forget that OU's governing body is completely owned by texas.

The BIG12 isnt as good as the SEC, obviously, so taking the risk of blatant cheating would be stupid. Not too mention, OU is one of two blue bloods in a weak conference so getting good players out of Texas is good enough to win.

If OU were in the SEC, they would have to recruit at the same level as the top teams in the conference. Personally, I think every program in America cheats but in my opinion, there are different levels. I'm sure you will disagree and that's fine but I think the only way to be competitive in the SEC is to pay for your talent. It's not like you folks don't call out your rivals on obvious recruiting violations. Shite, kids will literally take pictures with thousands of dollars in their hands after visiting schools. lol

Charles Barkley, Auburn's finest, literally said that we take care of our own in the SEC.

Really? You sound like a whiny college kid crying over "violent words". Well thankfully the founder of this message board believes in inclusive dialogue and enjoys banter of all walks of life.

I'm curious as to why people think as a football player, he's Manziel. He's way more of a polished passer than him and makes better decisions with the ball. Don't get me wrong, Manziel was a great college qb and I would love to have had him instead of Landry fricken Jones but Baker Mayfield as a football player, has a lot of potential whereas Manziel really didnt.
