Your documented history of repeatedly being wrong says it all. Now go back to the Tiger Rant.

I love how they use volume stats to call him the GOAT for the SEC, and he's note even Top 10.

Check the SEC single-season leaders, amigo. GOAT.

The guy is an above average receiver at the position, and an excellent blocker

Wasn't he averaging 30+ yards a pass at one time? IMHO he was underutilized in the pass game this year. When we screened to him in his first and second season, he was a threat to house each pass.

And anyone suggesting he is a liability in pass blocking has not watched him play since his first collegiate game vs Va Tech.

Of the top of my head, I can recall a single instance this year of him getting beat for a sack. He straight up stones blitzing LBs and safeties, even when they had a head of steam coming in.

Henry had a great season and the numbers he put up will have him in the conversation historically. I didn't think any RB would beat Hershel Walkers rushing record. Especially with less carries and today's offensive philosophy. Bama offense didn't know what it wanted to be until Henry helped gain an offensive identity as the year progressed. Plus, Henry's success and his big play ability had all these post-season teams scheming to stop him. This allowed Bama's receivers to find open space and was a major difference when the dust settled.

Thanks Henry for all the effort.
What a team player too!

The prestigious Doak Walker Award was created in 1989 to recognize the nation's premier running back for his accomplishments on the field, achievement in the classroom and citizenship in the community.

So, who won this award?

Can you imagine what Henry's stats would have been if got the luxury of rushing against the 80th, 109th, 126th, and the dead last 128th ranked rushing defenses in the country?

Can you imagine if Henry would have been a one trick pony like Fournette was cajunbama? You know you should try taking your crimson glasses off sometimes

Derrick Henry is probably the smartest RB to play at Alabama. Makes sense.

What will the Henry-humpers say when an SEC back breaks his record in 12 games?

What will they say when an SEC running back annihilates his record in 13, 14, or 15 games?

to get that close to Henry

Um, Henry didn't even catch Leonard in yards until playing in 12 games compared to Leonard's 11 in the regular season.

If you really want to keep pushing the Fournette gained his yards vs bad teams argument, then go compare their stats vs common opponents.

No one seems to have an answer for why it took Henry 13 more carries to get nine more yards vs Florida.
