That’s a pretty good troll job. Clearly it blew up in his face, but still well done.

This is about as sad as the Aggies jerking off over Speedy Noil’s touchdown catch vs LSU in 2014.

Blocking a defenseless player unnecessarily. So brave by that guy.
Since you're not familiar with the rules of the game, let's fill in the gaps for you. The play was still live. QB was pursuing the opponent who intercepted him. QB has to keep his head on a swivel in that situation.

Has Ole Miss had a decent defense since Joe Lee Dunn? I know they've had some players, but I don't recall a defense I thought of as nasty, much less a tradition of them.

3-34
But that defense was trash.

I'll always remember Landshark as an old SNL skit. I never thought it would become a mascot for Ole Miss athletics but there it is.

From a football purist standpoint the Landshark thing is stupid, but looking at it from the standpoint of modern day Anerica it's a pretty good marketing ploy given the history of Ole Miss. If they will tie the Landshark thing into opioid problem in America, they will have a pretty good marketing tool for a few years.

A tradition? TRADITION? The Landshark "tradition", by your own website's admission only dates back to 2008 (honestly, that's being pretty generous, but ok) so at the very most, it's 10 years old.
If it's not old enough to vote, it's not a tradition.

The land shark mascot is so bad even Darren Rovell is mocking it to his 2 million twitter followers

Why you bringing Bama into this? Not really Bama’s style to mock other schools by pretending to be them. That’s more Auburn- lash out at them.

So that’s what you guys have come with to defend this embarrassment?
If it was so big of a “tradition” why has there been a bear on the sideline for several years.
No it was a taunt. A taunt that is now an embarrassing mascot.

So just because someone served, it excuses a terrible idea? GTFO

They’re making fun of the fact y’all name a defense that can’t stop a pee wee team

Does it have anything to do with his service? If not, shut up. Even brilliant and honorable men have bad ideas.

Colonel Reb was not done away with for purely PC reasons. The athletic department was getting killed on the recruiting trail by other SEC teams use in our mascot against us Numerous recruits are on the record as saying they were leaning toward Ole Miss until school X (always another SEC team) told them about Colonel Reb and what he represented. It was a no brainer And our recruiting has improved since then.
