Greatest LSU football coaching performance?

When John Chavis shut down Johnny Football, I thought that was perhaps the best coaching performance by an LSU coach. Manziel did nothing against Chavis, but easily won the Heisman because of what he did to every other team that year.

What other great LSU coaching performances?

Believe it or not it might actually be Dinardo and staff against Florida in 97. Had the Gators completely off balance all night long.

Fun fact: Coach O has already won more SEC games at LSU than he won at Ole Miss

Chavis shut down Johnny TWICE. Chavis is an incredible defensive coordinator. He just can't get the results at A&M where they have no talent.

Y'all were actually good that season and we were way overrated just because of winning the title before and beating Tennessee.

True but it was plain as day Florida had no idea what to do, the most clueless I have ever seen Spurrier until the very end

Miles rallying the team from a 28 point deficit to topple Troy State.

48-7 over a Virginia Tech team that finished the regular season ranked 3rd in the country. I've never seen a team more prepared to play against a quality opponent than we were that night. Unbelievable coaching job Les and Co.

That was more shock and awe over a team who had no idea what they were walking into.
