I'd be willing to say after seeing him play that it's a 50/50 matchup at best. He'd give either of those guys trouble. But your OC may be smart enough to force it to the other side.

I don't need to. I read it here. I'm convinced. I'm going to go fishing instead of watching Mett and company abuse our defense all day.

He's easily the best lockdown corner in the conference right now.

What WR has he locked down this season that is on OBJ/Landry's level? I think it's hilarious how he's already "easily" the best corner in the entire conference after playing Toledo, Miami, and arguably the 3 worst teams/offenses in the SEC.

Your comparing a top 10 QB in almost every category with 5 QB's who aren't top 40 in any category.

The best DBs in the NFL would have trouble with the LSU WRs IMO. We fricked. Mett may go for 600 yards in the air and Cam may be made King of England. That bitch is getting old anyway.

Lsu vs tcu, the only remotely decent defensive backs they played. 16-32, one touchdown

First game of the year

Honest question, you think Mett is the same QB from game 1 to present day?

The good thing with this game is we won't be 1 dimensional. You blitz, you get burnt. You sit back and we hit you with zone reads and JH/AB/TM/KH

This isn't your 2012 offense son

I'm just going by what I've seen him do and I'm pretty sure he still leads the conference in pass deflections (I'm not sure where he's on the list for INTs). The kid plays the ball really well. As good as anyone else I've seen this year. And FWIW Miami is a Top 40 passing offense (I believe LSU is Top 30).

Obviously he can't do it alone, but I wouldn't throw to his side of the field unless I had to.

You are only partially right. He's actually the best parts of the games of the following:

Deion Sanders, Champ Bailey, Bob Sanders, Troy Polamalu, Lawrence Taylor, Sean Taylor, Sammy Baugh, and Nigh Train Lane.

And I guess OBJ and Landry is Jerry Rice incarnated?

It's amazing how asshurt some of you LSU fans get when someone says a player, who's shown to be quality at his position, might give your boys some trouble.

Nah. They're good All-SEC type performers. They are neither easy to shut down, nor uncoverable. You don't need to project a view point on me because you can't stop spitting out superlatives about a Florida Corner. I think it will be a fun matchup. Florida's defense is a tremendous challenge. Should be a good game and hopefully not the snooze fest that last year was.

For Lsu fans who think mett will go off. These are the stats on pass thrown beyond the line of scrimmage.

47-130 (36.2 percent)

596 yards - 4.5 per target.
why not copy the other stats from your 247 site?

Funny everything you all have spouted has said otherwise.

Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know that it was against the Rant rules to have a favorable opinion of another team's player that I've seen play. Next thing you know you'll be throwing out something about dickriding. So original
