I'm sorry if that's what you got from it my man. Just rubbed me the wrong way when your buddy claimed it should of been a blow out. So the "Florida should be a blowout" schtick has run its course as well right? And again, wasn't knocking LF at all, he played a hell of a game.

Not really, you got a TD on a fake field goal that really made the difference.

I know math is hard but we won by 7. We could have kicked that field goal instead of faking it and won by 3.

We had UF on the ropes and they were ready to get rolled....but our special teams play let us down again. Plus our secondary is still lost.

Thanks. Good luck to you guys as well. Congrats on well played game. Our special teams gave up a few big plays but in the end the fake FG was the difference. That was a true top 10 matchup and I think whoever saw the game live (or replay) should have come away with respect for both teams. If there was ever a case where losing team should move up in college football rankings this was it. Hope to see you guys in Atlanta. I think it "could" be the 1st time LSU vs FLA in SEC championship game? That would be cool!

I agree it wasn't anything close to a blow out nor should it have been. At the end of the day special teams and gimmick plays are a huge part of every game (just ask Michigan). I just don't like how fan bases (mostly LSU fans honestly) act like it is up to Miles to put unneeded wrinkles in our offense when the most high percentage plays are so successful.

On one hand as a football fan I hope we play y'all again in Atlanta because it will be one hell of a game. On the other hand I'm not looking forward to the fact that if we want to make the CFB playoff we will probably have to beat y'all again and you're going to keep getting better.

Great game and good luck the rest of the year

Much improved. UF fans have every reason to be excited. LSU beat a very good team last night.

Florida has a very good defense. VERY GOOD. Offense is one dimensional and predictable. No run game. When Harris is in the pocket he is too short to be effective, when he rolls out or gets out of the pocket he is effective and can really move. This problem goes to Florida's offensive line. That is the weakness in this Florida team. They are fast and strong and tackle well on defense. LSU has large special teams issues. Players still leaving lanes. Defensive Secondary for LSU is hit or miss. Many busted coverages which means they are confused. They should be thrown 100 balls every practice to teach them how to catch. Drop interceptions too often. Also match up problems many times. LSU offense is coming along. Passing game needs more middle of the field 8-10 yd routes. Middle was open all night, which is what Florida was giving away but LSU did not really capitalize on it. On D-Line Neil is improving game by game and will be a beast. LF what can I say that has not been said. Those 180 yes were made on brute strength and toughness. No long ones but 6 yds per carry against that VERY GOOD Florida defense. Glad to see Miles recover his gonads on the fake field goal. Peveto would be packing his bags today. At one time during a time out, I saw him giving instructions to the defense only to have coach O come over and grab his guys and direct them to him. What in the heck is Peveto doing trying to coach the defense. Miles was standing 5 yds away just looking which tells me that Miles does not get involved with the defense. When Pelini was here he told me Miles would not talk to him all week except on Friday when he asked if all was ready.

Couldn't agree with you more Finch. Why anyone would not run a beast like that is beyond me. Stick to what works IYAM. Getting cute is what almost cost Bama yesterday, because they got away from what was working.

As far as getting better goes, the same can be said for LSU's passing game. If it can at least relieve the pressure on the running game like last night, watch out!

LSU is significantly better that UF. Gators played great got gifted with 14. IF we play again it won't be close.. Move along.

Miles did the usual in the 2nd half when he has a multiple td lead. Abandon the pass and ride fournette to the win, which almost cost us in this game. But we could've had Harris too in 2nd half cause he was passing the ball very well in 1st half. This all we have is fournette talk needs to stop.. we have Harris too and he has shown he can beat teams with his arm too... but all in all I have much respect for Florida and you guys have a really good team.. hope we can finally meet each other in the sec champ. Game.

Um...... what? Bad special teams play cost LSU 14 and cost Florida 7, explain how a 7 point swing turns into a 21 point swing?

LSU was gifted 7 at least, maybe 14-- I mean if a Punt Return TD is a gift then so is a fake FG, and a hail mary pass is pretty fluky as well.
