He will be getting thrown at, a lot more than Banks.

Banks has two picks this year and fourteen over his career. He also has a ton of pass breaks up and a number of forced fumbles. If another grinder would be so kind they could get the full stats.

For a truly great cb your don't necessarily want extremely high stats...
Posted on 9/11/12 at 1:11 pm to TreyAnastasio
The SEC, once again, is loaded at the CB position. Banks, Simon, and Millner are the top 3 IMO. I think all 3 of these guys are better than David Amerson from NC State. But, i do feel that Banks is the best CB in the nation. He doesnt only lock down the opponents top WR, but he makes huge plays when Miss St needs them the most.

True, but great CBs are also playmakers. Look at guys like Revis, Deion, Bailey, etc.

Still gonna lose to Texas A&M.

No he wont. That was just bad QB play on Michigan's part. He said after the game he had never been thrown at that much even when he was a Freshman.
ETA: Ill bookmark this thread and we can comeback on draft day and you can tell me how right I was. Ill play it down, that I got lucky, but we'll both know.

Losing to a future 6-6 Florida team on your home field sure gave you guys a ton of confidence.

lol, State will crush A&M.
better offense than UF, and a comprable defense.

If the rest of your DBs are scrubs why bother throwing to who he is covering?
Lions don't go after the strongest wildebeest, they go after the weakest.
