Is this the part where I post the football score and pretend it's somehow relevant?

Yes. It should be reflexive at this point.

I'm glad we don't have to see those guys again this year. State College has a national championship caliber squad this year. congrats on a fine victory, and 3 of 4 on the season...with that said, it is my sincere wish that you don't get a base hit the rest of the season, although I think you will.

Definitely didn't expect to see this game be such a low-scoring affair, although there were plenty of opportunities for both teams to put several more runs up left on the field. GG Rebs, y'all still got a chance to make some post season noise.

Pretty simple for us... We can't hit for shite but if we pitch really well the last month and take 3 of our last 4 series while avoiding a 1 and done showing in Hoover we'll host.

That tag that was debated on this thread, he did tag him on the foot. The replay showed it and thd official got it right. It was damn close but a helluva play defensively. As far as the jersey talk, I like them. They are not my favorites by any means but they look good. I still prefer our standard dress though.

I had this game as a toss up going in even though our bullpen has not been very good. But lately I think they are slowly getting better. There is big talent in some of our young pitchers but there is always an adjustment period to college play. Summer league will help them a lot, too.

Speaking of ugly uniforms...

That blue is ugly as shite on a baseball uniform.

It reminds me of that Nintendo baseball game Bases Loaded. That my friends is how old I am.

Funny to hear several different set of announcers/color analysts all say how much they like them/remind them of the old Cardinal uniforms....Enjoy your "knock off" Milkman uni's and y'all have a great team this year. Good luck in the post season.

no you don't, youre just saying that. and you wont admit it, but you really know that the powder blue uniforms are the best uniforms in the SEC this season, just like the vast majority of fans and tv commentators in the conference.

I like the powder blues, and the whites weren't that bad, just an inverse coloring of our maroon 1985 jerseys that look great. My biggest issue with adidas is their refusal to bring back our simple white pinstripes. I don't like the grey and I don't like the 1970's Met's shoulder stripe they threw on there a couple of years ago.

You are talking about jerseys , State talking a title run.
