From the first couple of hits it was obvious y'all came to play. Your defense did a great job of slowing down our running game and your hurry up offense definitely gave us some fits on a couple of drives.

I think y'all will surprise some folks this year if you keep up the high level of play.

I have us winning 41-26 on Saturday with the game being in single digits late in the 4th.

One of the things that sticks out was how hard Ole Miss was hitting. It has been a few years since the team played with that level of aggression.

They are light years improved. They didn't look intimidated at all.

I have to say, they are well coached, and will probably beat teams like Auburn and Upig because of it, but they still are not a very good football team.

I said it in another thread: I've seen all of OM's games this year, and they've got a good team. I don't for one second think our coaches & players will take this weeks's tough road game in Oxford for granted.

Yes we are playing with heart and are playing a full 60 minutes which is a huge improvement from last season. We do have talent on this team but we do have many areas where we just don't have the depth to compete with a lot of good teams. I think if we are patient and give Freeze time to get in his players and get his offense set up, we could be a very competitive team down the road.

Ole Miss worries me, but I do think that depth will hurt them later in the year. I think the hurry-up offense becomes depleted for any team during the last couple week of the year due too fatigue and oppositions catching on to the schemes that the team exhibits. I hope that they are strong later on in the year so that we can finally have a competitive egg bowl in 3 years

You could end up competitively competing for 5th in the west in a few years.

It must suck to make yourself have to believe that every few years.

You mean where you were last year and will end up this year? We have higher aspirations than that.

It would have work better at the end if Bo knew the plays and did not need the timeouts.

that is hilarious considering MSU's "good seasons" are when they are behind Alabama, LSU, Arkansas and Auburn in the standings. That makes you sir 5th in the west. Some of us are not happy with that
