10.4 ypa over 3000 yards in 12 games and 22 TDs. LSU was 7th in yards per play and averaged 35.8 ppg. So yeah when you lose your senior 3000 yard QB, two 1000 yard WRs, 1400 yard RB, you tend to fall back. LSU was not prepared at all for project QB like we had last year. The first half of the season, the OL was going through a scheme change, the whole year, the QBs were inexperienced and bad, the WRs were inexperienced and did a lot of wrong things.
2nd year with OL coach, brought back every WR, and have a starting 1000 yard RB who is a freak of nature. All we need is the QB.

As a gator fan I hope he doesn't come to UF. We need to get a QB ready for year , this year is a rebuilding year.

We also got a more technical WR coach who will help progress our young WRs faster.

Golson and Florida were made for each other. Gator football with Golson would produce tons of points for and against.

Have you at series record? We had you beat last year except for a drop by board handed blocking TE in the end zone. Same TE let his cement hands bounce a pass inside the girls schools 10 yd line after we had just picked off Winston 4 times in first quarter..pass deflected and taken back 94 yds.

I hear this argument all the time, but the bottom line is any coach who does not try to get the best players on the field at this moment in time are fools.
If Golson can make you competitive this year, why not take him? If Grier is the future, he would still get plenty of reps during the year and have an additional Spring and Summer to get ready. McElwain could prep a qb in that amount of time.
