It doesn't have to do with respect. There are very few out of conference games that get to be played over the years and Clemson and Auburn have played each other way too many times. Both Clemson fans and Auburn fans deserve to get to go see other campuses.

Dabo is just adding Auburn wins to his resume for when Saban retires. Smart move Dabo.

Why are yall scheduling Clemson again when you couldn't best them in a 3 game series 10-12?

Thats pathetic

A USCe fan dickriding Clemson is really pathetic.

Yes. This is like keeping the same mistress for 10 years. We already have rivals, and we're not going to marry Clemson to add them to the list. Let us get some strange FFS.

Wow, didn't think the Aubies would react this way. I love playing Auburn personally and thought there was quite a bit of mutual respect there between the two, guess not.

With the proximity was and histories, Clemson's AD has made it known he wants to start the season each year with either Auburn or UGA.

If this were an annual rivalry at the start of the year, I don't think you'd be seeing this kind of reaction. But when you only get a certain number of OOC games, and 75% of them are directional schools, you kind of want some variety.

Would you rather play AU again for the 6th time in 10 years, or see another SEC team like LSU, Bama, UF or Ole Miss?

Auburn is letting Dabo win. He will tank Bama when Saban retires.

This tweet sums up our feelings:

@BarrettSallee: Excluding bowl and SECCG possibilities, Auburn will play Clemson five times between 2010-2017. It will play Florida once.

Since our goofball AD has stuck us with this...

Series Record: 34-13-2 Auburn
Largest Margin of Victory: 56-0 AU win in 1921
Longest win streak: 14 (Auburn, 1952-2010)

I'd take a series with Clemson. I have a bunch of friends down here in Charleston that love them and it would be fun.

I'll trade them for WVU in Charlotte, Auburn!

Why not start playing Florida as an OOC opponent?

We should really schedule a home and home with Florida. I don't care what other people would think and don't care that they are in the SEC. And also don't mind that it would count as OOC.
