As I stated earlier, I've been as forward as forward can go with both sides and Marine grunt definitely gets the nod. Army did a few things smarter but it wasn't much fall off depending on who went on missions.

I love my FO's, I hold them in the same regard as my medics. They hump it out with the grunts Shona ba Shona and stand tall and far above any mechanic, cook, tanker or loggie, but there is still a willingness gap between the guy that says "Left 100, drop 100" and the guy that says "Follow Me"

Ranger regt is a bunch of brainwashed idiots. I got my tab but I'll never go try to go to regt. I remember being in Ramadi and my unit was given a sector that the Marines didn't want because it was "too hostile, frick that place" quoted from a USMC LTC

You do know what a Cocker spaniel is good for right? They look pretty, but can't hunt nor guard worth a shyiat and if you scare them they piss themselves. Well that would be a USMCR unit from my experience when they got some shake & bake grunt who wannabe George Patton CO that was a comptroller when on active duty.

If you outrank me and we saw each other in uniform, I would stand at parade rest or salute you but here, no. My last 1SG was a 13B and I showed him the utmost respect, but he could handle the branch trash talking without pulling rank. Lighten up guy, it's just trash talk.
