I played some high school ball, one year, and probably played against some eventual SEC players but honestly I have no recollection of any of them. I can't even remember which high school teams I played against.

Played high school ball with Russ Springer (LSU). Watched him strike out 16 one game.
He could bat back then too. Pretty swing and he'd hit the ball hard b
His older brother had better junk than Russ, he just wasn't as tall and didn't have that mid-90s fastball.
I'd also do some winter workout stuff with Curt Leskanic and Kevin McGaughey (La Tech, SF Giants).
Leskanic's impression of Skip Bertman was spot on. He'd do the walk to the mound and the talk perfectly.

He never made it to Vanderbilt(suicide..ugh), but Stephen Gant. I also played against Will Irvin. I think he ended up playing one year at Auburn. Nathian Foriest was another kid, but he ended up at MTSU after being committed to Ole Miss. I think arm troubles, not sure on him.

My brother played against St. Paul's (Alabama) in a tournament like 6 years ago. I remember sitting in the stands as a young kid watching some SS come up to the dish and drop a nano-bomb. Turns out AJ McCarron is just as good as a baseball player as he is at QB.

Played against a bunch in summer ball and a few in high school. I played out of East Cobb so almost too many to count.

I played a bunch of current LSU guys in high school.
Tyler Moore, Alden Cartwright, Joe Broussard, Brady Domangue, Henri Faucheux, Chris Sciambra, and Nola, though Nola wasn't pitching when we played Catholic.
There was also a guy from Zachary High that i think went to Bama, but im not sure if he is still there
