Doubtful.

This is America.

Also, I know a few criminals, and the last thing they would want to own is a firearm. Talk about getting slammed. 5-10 on top.

According to police in Fort Walton Beach, Florida ... 23-year-old Coffee was pulled over for speeding ... but cops quickly discovered that Glen's vehicle -- a 2008 Cadillac -- had no registration or insurance.

Because the vehicle was deemed "unlawful to be on the roadway," cops called for the Cadillac to be towed ... but first, they ran a quick search -- and found a "black 380 SIG Sauer automatic pistol."

(17) "Securely encased" means in a glove compartment, whether or not locked; snapped in a holster; in a gun case, whether or not locked; in a zippered gun case; or in a closed box or container which requires a lid or cover to be opened for access.

My original point was that Glen Coffee had no reason to be carrying around an unregistered firearm in Ft. Walton unless he was dealing in some shady stuff, IMO.

Oh shite, it was unregistered? He might get slammed then. I think I need to read more of this article.

I think what has offended Capstone, and perhaps a few others, is that:

1. You led off your posting with a "hood" reference. Bitch move. And racist.
2. You claim the only reason he would be carrying is for something "shady". Pretty fricking stupid on your part.
3. Your whole objection revolves around his "need" to carry a firearm. Need is not what this is about. It's about his violation of law.

So, while I generally enjoy your posts and think you're a swell fella, just GTFO on this one.

I wouldn't run to a message board and celebrate a person making a mistake.

I'm not going to defend D.J. Hall. His actions speak for themselves, and it won't be the last time he's in trouble. However, considering the life that Glen has led, and the changes he's made, I don't see why there's so much joy from your perspective over something of this nature.

How is using the term "hood" a bitch move? especially in the context of which I used it. and racist? Seriously dude? GTFO.

Okay, he is supposedly this "Godly man", then why does he need to carry a gun with him in Ft. Walton? And if he is about doing "the right thing", then why did he not get the gun registered? It seems like a very easy thing to do, especially if you know the repercussions of getting caught with it not being registered. What would lead me to believe that he was carrying the gun around with him for legit reasons?

None of this stuff makes Glen Coffee a bad guy, but carrying an unregistered pistol while driving around in an uninsured car does make him really fricking stupid. Even bama fans can't argue with that.

Virginia Tech seemed like a pretty safe place where you wouldn't have to worry about crazy people carrying guns...

Oh wait.

I am commenting more on the hypocrisy that Glen Coffee has showed during the past 3 months. If the guy wanted to really be a holy man, and help others out, he should sell his fricking Escalade.
