He's better. Stats are comparable, and one is going to the playoffs.

He didnt have a Heisman Moment™ though

The lead was too much without a Heisman Moment™

Lamar Jackson:
3,390 passing yards, 30 TDs, 9 INTs
1,538 rushing yards, 21 TDs

Total yards: 4,928
Total TDs: 51

Deshaun Watson:
3,914 passing yards, 37 TDs, 15 INTs
529 rushing yards, 6 TDs

Total yards: 4,443 yards
Total TDs: 43

Lamar has 500 more yards of offense, 8 more TDs, and 6 less INTs.... and he played in one less game

Watson isn't the best player. I'm sure he'll win it because of Clemson being in the playoffs but he should not get it

They should just not give one out this year. Or give it to Peyton Manning.

Anybody happen to catch the ref hand him something after the game last night? He handed the ref the ball and the ref pulled something from his pocket and handed it to him.

no one talks about some of the negatives..

He Has 38 sacks…Seriously! Deshaun Watson has 11…Seriously

He has 16 Turnovers Watson 17

There is that pesky head-to-head game….

Also…Jackson is not a closer!..He is the one player that touches virtually every play and must be held accountable to the good AND Bad Descisions compared to players at the same position and not just stat-packing games.

Lamar's last 2 games were an embarrassment and Watson's were Heisman worthy with 11 TD's

Watson didn’t get blasted by a mid major team and one of the SEC’s historically worst football teams in his last two games….

I am not even going to hammer him on Duke and UVa because there are mismatches that get close sometimes….but they did happen

Watson may not deserve the Heisman (I think he does) but a few players out there have every bit of a legitimate claim…

If Jackson had dropped a few games early and finished strong then I could see the point but the dude dropped his last 2 games…come on!

Mayfield is the better QB and has thrown the ball less.

so Watson has thrown the ball 105 more times than Lamar but people make a big deal out of 6 more interceptions. lol

Watson gone up against better defenses than what Mayfield sees at Okla.

Jackson is asked to do much more with less around him, and less help on D.

Of his 3 losses, one is not to Clemson... so there is that.

Personally, I think it's shite that there isn't more talk of a defensive or other skill player.

On top of multiple great SEC defenders, Peppers and that Price kid from Pitt are having great years.

There are 2 x 2000 + yd rushers hardly being spoken about. The one at UTex has 2000+ yds in only 11 games in the big 12.

Amazing to think how far Tejas has fallen when a 2k yd rusher gets less praise than the 2k yd rusher from SDSU (who is also pretty damn good)

Then, you have westbrook, c. Davis, and Ross at WR who have all had monster years and have been instrumental to team success.

Pretty crap Heisman yr, but if any of the QBS deserve it, I think it should be jackson.

the 2nd best team Lville beat this year is 6-6 NC State or 6-6 Wake forest. he basically just padded his stats against bad teams. he wasnt that impressive against Duke or UVA.
