Petrino- Great offensive mind but seems pretty abrasive.

Nutt- Unpredictable as hell and always good for a soundbite.

Saban- Total cock but probably the best coach in CFB.

Mullen- Smart cat who seems like he is genuinely a good guy BUT can get pretty cut throat if need be.

Chizik- Comes across as a little too big for his britches and a total fake (the whole "God" and "Family" thing).

Miles- Seems like he would be that "cool guy" in college, and as a coach he is just smart enough to be dangerous guy who knows how to 'hold a team' and get them to play for him.

Phillips- Well...idk.

Dooley- Complete and total cock, which could work against him if he doesn't get the results and players don't buy in, but I think he'll be alright.

Richt- Good guy that, coaching wise, seems like he just can't catch a break.

Spurrier- Great coaching mind who is half-assing it right now.

Muschamp- IDK about him as an HC but players seem to enjoy playing for him when he was a DC.

Vandy's coach- Same as OP

That thought would have never crossed my mind.

Vandy's coach is James Franklin for all those who were too cool to know. Remember that name because you're gonna hear it a lot very soon.

I love when ignorant arse Gumps bring this up. They love to boast about the "tradition" of Alabama and all the championships they claim that everyone knows is bullshite.

Yes, Les Miles did win games with players that "Saban coached" BUT that still doesn't change the fact that those players chose LSU OVER Alabama and Alabama's "tradition" You see LSU hasn't stopped winning since Saban left. LSU doesn't need Saban to win or get recruits. Saban is gone and
LSU is still kicking' arse. Last year Miles beat Saban with Miles recruits.

Alabama NEEDS Saban. LSU doesn't

By the way, if that Alabama player doesn't spear Colt McCoy right in his throwing shoulder (coincidence???) in the beginning of the Championship game, Texas beats your arse.

Give a one sentence assessment of every Football coach in the SEC

Petrino- He has a very good offensive mind and appears to have no regard for others' opinions.

Nutt- He is a very good motivator, coaches with enthusiasm and emotion, but has his head hung down at the end of most games.

Saban- He is the greatest defensive mind in college football, (except for '00 UAB, '00 Florida, '01 Florida, '02 Va.Tech '02 Arkansas, '02 Alabama, '02 Auburn, '02 Texas
'04 Georgia, '04 Iowa, '07 UL Monroe, '09 Utah, '10 Auburn; decent at winning with previous coaches' players (Dinardo, Shula), but has been embarassed too many times.

Mullen- He seems like a pretty good Xs and Os guy, and good motivator and decent recruiter.

Chizik- Whenever I see him interviewed, I just think to myself that he is a fake PR smile guy who will win at all costs.

Miles- He's a Michigan alum, so he is not dumb.
Talks completely different to his team and coaches in the locker room, on the field, and at practice than he does to the media.
He just doesn't give a good goat plop about the media. He is a MASTER motivator and a players' coach, yet is also a strict disciplinarian and has everyone's respect.
Has beaten 8 coaches who have won or played in the national championship game, and is 2-2 against little napoleon.(& should be at least 3-1)
Can recruit with ANYBODY in the country. Has assembled one of the best staffs in the nation.
Has lost ONE non-conference game in 6 years (Penn State in '09 Capital One Bowl)
Has the best SEC record since 2005, and has won 62 of 79 games.

Phillips- Has a chance to make a name at UK.

Dooley- Will prove himself within the next 2-3 years at Tennessee.

Richt- Pretty good gameday coach who is liked by his players.

Spurrier- He is just a dick and is proud to be one, but will go down as one of the greatest and most innovative coaches of all time.

Muschamp- Jury out on whether he can be an effective SEC head coach. Too early to tell.

Vandy's coach- Brave soul.
