Wildcat would've done fine, too.
Glad she didn't go the Black Bear route (I'm a mascot purist, what can I say?)

Isthis like one of those "find the ____" pictures? I can't find a black bear anywhere

No black bears to be found.

She's selling them on her etsy. She'll make some $. But damn, high priced.

Where does it begin and where does it end?

Good art is expensive man!
Seriously though. She probably spent 20-40 hours making this? She should make money.
And I REALLY like seeing an artist make money independently like this. Freaking awesome.

Or Reveillie.
Or a Missy State Bulldog.
Or two of the three tiger mascots.

I agree. Its a good price for a print of something that cool. I hope she does well and I like to support local artists.

12 days over winter break per her blog post.
Agreed. She should make all she can off this.

It's hand drawn with ballpoint pen.

I appreciate artists who can draw/paint things really really well that I can actually recognize.
My Aunt is an artist with a gallery in New York and she'll sell a painting for over $30,000.00. Which is nice, but it's abstract. I might hang it up in the house, but I wouldn't pay a lot for it simply because it means nothing to me.
Now, dogs playing poker on a velvet canvas - hey, that speaks to me.
But, yeah, I like some realism in my art.
