Ok here is the single argument since you cant understand

Gerhart 26 rushing tds
Ingram 18 rushing tds 3 receiving tds

so if TD's equals Heisman, then Keenen will win. Or Mallett

eta- you're still wrong.

What are the numbers then?

According to ESPN Ingram had 15 rushing tds and one of you gumps said he had 18

That is what I had to start which means one of you gumps was wrong.

Also tds arent everything but if you "heisman" winner has less yards and touchdowns than another candidate then there is something wrong

But if one candidate only has 21 more yards on an additional 40 touches, then it shows he's not as an explosive player and the Td's were a result of short yardage plays, not so much breaking runs and making plays as much as it was goal line blocking.

Interesting thought. If gerhart wins heisman at RB does he then get put at FB in NFL?

The reason I don't get the hype for Gerhart is cuz in his highlight reels, you never see him working for yards. Never seen him run someone over or have to make a move on somebody. His blockers seem to be doing all the work.
More than half of Ingrams yards are after initial contact.

I guess we wont throw in the fact he had to carry that team because of a freshman quarterback and less offensive weapons than bama.
Carry them where exactly? The El Paso Bowl?

Ask yourself this: if Toby Gerhart played for LSU, Ole Miss, Miss State, or most other SEC schools, would he even be in this Heisman Race? No way. When I hear SEC fans root against SEC Heisman candidates just because they are rivals really disappoints me. Maybe when the OP grows up he will learn to appreciate the conference as a whole and respect his competition. There are benefits to not having your judgement clouded by your hatred, but for now he is exactly what is currently wrong with the many cry-babys in the LSU fanbase and the many so-called SEC fans in general.

Is this against the same PAC 10 competition we've all been mocking for eight years?

I guess they forgot all about that. I mean they always bash USC and Reggie Bush for playing WEAK competition.lol.

If I'm not mistaken, over HALF of Ingram's rushing yards are AFTER 1st contact. Has anyone EVER done that?

This thread has officially got me on board the "Gerhart is the greatest player in history". Even more than Tebow.!
