It is somewhat confusing. I see where Florida won the FLW National Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship twice a few years ago. May be more than one NCAA sanctioned champion each year? This article notes Minnesota won the FLW Championship this year. LINK

They are. They stocked lakes with the Florida strain. California has some lakes with absolute monsters in them. Again, from the Florida strain.

There is. There is the FLW Wal-Mart NC and the Carhartt NC(that is the B.A.S.S. organization). Those are the two main professional bass fishing circuits.

Awesome. I get to fish with and against a lot of those college team members through my bass club. Always good folks.
Some senior at my daughter's high school got multiple fishing scholarships.

Holy Crap, there is some good money for college kids. Florida had a team win back to back a few years ago.

That gif reminds me of the basshole club, I convinced a fishing buddy to bring his trolling motor and battery and we had a dual motor fishing canoe. Dam thing would almost come up out of the water, whiskey and bass fishing was great way to relax.
