Congrats to the Dawgs basketball program, and their NIT success. You boys are truly making a historical run.

Dawgs are probably the midget of the Big 6. No doubt.

Serious question, Dawg fans…would you hang the banner if you win it all at Hinkle?

This is like talking sh** to South Carolina in football. Let us enjoy one of the few bright spots we have had since Harrick (and really ever).

Thanks for sharing. Really hard to argue with Lugnut Dawg’s reasoning here…

Runs like this one into the NIT can build momentum in and out of the program that things are on the upswing.

So get the platform lift ready for this fall, because a banner needs to be added at the “Stegasaurus.”

1983 Elite 8.. Final 4

There are some teams in this conference that have NEVER made it to the Elite 8.. so you aren't at the bottom..

Absolutely hilarious coming from a school with zero final 4s

I'm just glad to see our basketball team get some experience in post-season play.
We have a rough season so hopefully this that White is starting to build a complete team.

Y’all will say Georgia fans don’t care about basketball then make fun of us for being happy when the team does well in the NIT. At least we didn’t decline to play lmao

After the Georgia game this year Bama will have 2 losses and they know it. Half of the Bama fans on this board will stop posting and probably stop watching Bama football altogether because Bama doesn’t have a lot of true fans. Just be patient.

That Georgia team got hot at the right time. They finished the season 9-9 in conference...then won the SEC tournament to eventually make it to the Final Four.

Crazy thing is...they came super close to being knocked out by VCU in the first round of the NCAA Tournament that year. Georgia took a shot as time was expiring, and a UGA player touched the ball while it was above the cylinder...It should have been offensive goaltending and gone into overtime, but the refs didn't call it and Georgia walked away with a 2 point win.

Impressive final-fourless retro-melt. Good job

Playing more games is always good. Games are > practice.

*only if you don’t have to replace entire team every year

Crazy thing is you're bitching about a non call in a 1st Rd game from 41 years ago.

Why?

Because the only Final Four banners in your arena are from Pat Summit.

Good to see the point went over your head. It should have gone to Overtime...and Georgia was the better team. They just won the SEC tournament...my point was, even if you are the better team...sometimes you need a little luck, too.

Also..."fourless" is not a word. You put the hyphen in the wrong place, dumbass.

Not bitching about it...it was crazy. Georgia had just won the SEC tournament and should have beaten VCU by 20...the crazy part was that they squeaked by to get the first round win, and then beat the Number 1 seed the next game. There is no way if they played VCU 10 times, Georgia wouldn't have taken most, if not all of them.
