5 seniors, one of which is Grayson Lambert.

That's absolutely ridiculous. The majority of your major contributors are all young. Georgia is also adding likely 20ish 4/5 star recruits this year a well.

Georgia is losing 17 3 star and below players as seniors this year.

Out with the old, in with the new.

Hopefully, this sleeping giant has awakened,

Talent hasn't been a problem at Georgia in a long time. i would consider Georgia my second favorite SEC team if I had to pick one, but they have a plethora of charmin soft knuckleheads

What we haven't had is the talent on the lines of scrimmage...where games are won.

This is the best Oline class ever assembled at UGA.

I just think the talent gap next year in the East will be overwhelming. I want to run some numbers, but I think Georgia will be ahead of the next team in 4/5 star players by 20 or so.

I think Reggie Carter is a redshirt Junior. Took a medical redshirt last year if I remember correctly. Someone correct me if I'm wrong....

May have missed it and I apologize if so, but is Chubb and Michel both coming back for sure next year?

No reason for them not to win 9 games this year

Recruiting rankings are fake news. UGA didn't have near as talented team as they have had in the past.

Georgia has almost always been one of, if not, the most talented teams in the SEC east since about 2002-2003.

They have a really good class this year, but talent has never been their issue.

Our senior class this year was a joke... I mean bad.

This recruiting class this year combined with last years is the beginning of a whole other level of recruiting.

But if everything stays the same, with what Alabama is losing this year to the draft and attrition, Georgia may have a many 4/5 star players as Alabama. Who is far and away the leader in that category. It'll be around 60 for each, out of an 85 man roster.

We will see what Kirby can do. He walked into a better year 1 situation than any SEC coach in recent memory and still only finished 8-5 in a wide open East.

Georgia really shite the bed in a bad SEC east this year. They had Tennessee on the ropes and blew it, got destroyed by an Ole Miss team that didn't even go to a bowl game, and then were embarrassed in Jacksonville by an average Florida team.

The Vanderbilt game made my eyes bleed.

But now they have the presumptive best QB in the division, a bunch of talent (on paper) and maybe the best two RB's in the conference.

If they don't win it next year, with all the question marks around the rest of the division, then Kirby isn't the guy.

Kirby certainly walked into a better situation than McElwain. I think McElwain is a good coach. His first year they were doing try outs on the Oline and no QB. Won the East. Thats why I have a hard time accepting that UGAs issues were all Oline recruting related. That and their Oline got plenty for Chubb and Michel in Richts last year and I think it was the same line except 1 spot. 2 guys on their line were preseason SEC team and they werent there at the end of the year. I think Chaney and Pittman lacked somehow with them.

Not a slight UGA fans. Ive heard this argument talked about on 680. It made some sense to me.

Pretty much nailed it. Make or break year 2 for the Kirbs
