This is going to effectively seal it for Mark Fox. It's going to be like Clemson was this year with their head coach, if not even worse for him. It's tournament or gone for Fox next year, or gone right now. There will be no ifs or buts about it.

Mark Fox will be slipping a bonus envelope of cash to someone.

This is going to effectively seal it for Fox but he could get another year? This post is remarkably inconsistent

Just when I thought LSU couldn't possibly be coached worse and made dumber plays, this game happened. He has no business running a basketball team at any level

Welp, glad we won, but the coaching. my god.

Win VS Auburn
Win at Arkansas
Win at least 2 in the SEC tournament and we're in.

It's a tall order, but rather be barely alive than dead.

We lose to a team that struggles with LSU just 2 days later.

By transitive property that should automatically disqualify Bama from any postseason consideration.

this is so pathetic... lots of people arguing for Fox need to defend this. Easy game, up double digits, and he's about to choke it and take the 10% chance of an at large and magically turn it into 0%. Fun magic act. He's been here 8 years. Garbage.

I can defend it. UGA should give him a lifetime contract. Why not??

LSU should give Johnny Jones a double-lifetime contract. So there - shows that I am not biased....

I still think Georgia is a better offensive team in basketball when they don't waver back and forth from pick and roll and running plays through the post in the triangle but two things are very clear, the others on the team are nervous when its crunch time and freeze up as it's something they've never experienced before at a higher level than high school (and who's fault is that?) and they aren't doing a good job at rebounding. However, due to fouling issues, Maten was very tentative lately with rebounding when he was in. Who knows.

I have been saying that if Maten doesn't return, all bets are off and it might even be one and out for Georgia in the conference tournament but if he does return, the plays through the triangle can't return with him.

Wilridge also isn't a 4. Georgia is playing with 3 guards and a small forward, 4 perimeter players...I'm actually not sure that this is a good idea vs Auburn and its definitely not a good idea vs Arkansas.
