As much as I would like to see Ole Miss go into Athens and win, this feels like one of those games that Kirby scraps the fancy game planning. Just takes the first 3 drives of the game and punches them in the chest repeatedly at about 14 plays each and runs it right down Lane’s throat to take the life out of them. This feels like 38-13 UGA. Ole Miss has no chance. UGA just don’t lose these type games.

I stopped trying to figure out who’ll knock them off 3 weeks ago. If it happens at all, it’ll be in ATL. By whomever.

Uga has all the advantages, but not the confidence.

Mizzou would have won in COMO.

I think if Ole Miss plays their game and Lane doesn't get cute, Uga could be in trouble. Or, win by 30.

Who the frick knows anything this year

Is this Lane vs. Kirby's first time head to head?

I think it is.

It is going to be a hell of a game however it turns out and when they play each other again it will be interesting to see how each adjusts from their first meeting.

You almost lost to AU and Mizzou. Is the team playing confident?

The other set of Tigers would score 50+: of course, uga would score 60+.

You have a great team. But, the pressure is building and it has shown in multiple games.

Laugh all you want.

If UGA was capable of that this season, they would have already been doing it. Ole Miss is a very formidable opponent and compared to our "baby shite" schedule, the toughest team we've played, and we've struggled mightily. It took some miracles and help from the refs for UGA to be where we are right now. frick the point spread, if I were a gambler, I'd take Ole Miss straight up. Them boys are hungry, and UGA is just a busted up band of gypsies riding on the coat tails of our previous NC teams.

If you want a real assessment. Here it is.

Dawgs need to shut down the running game. That’s all

It feels like one of those games where yeah we are a really good team having a really good year. But Georgia is ultra talented with an actual good coach, at their place at night. It could get away from us quick. We are going to have to weather the storm in the first half and if we do that, we will make our move in the second half.

We are REALLY good in the 4th quarter so if we get the game there close, we have a good chance. That’s a big “if” though.

What does this even mean? I think they're playing very confidently, personally. They've won every game this season and 26 straight. They haven't lost at home since 2019. Yes, they've trailed in a couple of games this season, but they haven't blinked. How do we assess their confidence level anyway?

And did Bama almost lose to Arkansas and A&M? Do they lack confidence because those games were closer than people expected? Sounds like horseshite armchair psychoanalysis and wishful thinking. It's tough to blow teams out every week.

Honestly, a few weeks ago, I finally accepted this team is what it is- a group that needed time to gel and get its feet under them, but is not as dominant as that upperclass laden 2021 team and doesn't have the defensive names of the 2022 team. The crap schedule and endless injuries allowed a lot of experience and growing up to be gained. It is not great to lose the steadying influence of JDJ in the middle, but I sort of wonder if the defense might actually gain something by rotating Chambliss in at the middle LBer and letting Walker stake out the edge on more snaps. Along with Mondon and Smith at the star, it puts more speed on the field, with the younger guys continuing to rotate in as well.
