I was glad to see UGA get the bowl bid in Charlotte.

If you are happy with it, good for you. Most people would rather go to a warmer weather climate during this time of year. Charlotte will probably one of the colder bowl games
Been there, done that. Zero fricks to give.

I have no desire to go to Charlotte midweek, mid winter.
I was hoping for Music City Bowl as I enjoy the Nashville music/bar scene.
The only difference between Charlotte and Omaha midwinter is that in the former, it is likely to be freezing rain rather than the snow in the latter.

It's a good matchup and should draw....

Every Dawg fan, including myself, is excited about this game. We’re tired of the shitty Florida bowls. We get to play Grantham at night in Charlotte. UGA is much better than Auburn and Mizzou, we don’t need a Bowl game to tell anyone that.

Or maybe it's the fact there isn't a Belk here?

As I've said elsewhere, I would gouge my eyes out if we ended up in Florida against Minny or Wisconsin. I'm stoked about this bid.
My thoughts exactly.

And this.

Congratulations on having virtually nothing to show for being much better than Auburn. When Auburn was much better than Georgia last year, we had a western division championship, SEC championship, and trip to the national championship game to show for it

They have a better bowl match up to show for it.

We have a better record than auburn and beat them by 4 touchdowns so I'm not worried about anything an aubie has to say about bowls.

Eh, Charlotte in winter isn't great (esp for an outdoor game), but I can see being happy for a change of pace. The florida bowls tend to run together and while they are better than the Belk bowl (both in prestige and in weather) there is some truth to the statement that after the top tier it doesn't matter that much.
For bowl destinations I think the best mid-level bowls are Music City and Outback b/c Nashville is a fun town and Tampa is an okay town w/ great weather. Rather go to either of them than to Orlando, Jax, Memphis, or Charlotte.

The harsh reality is this:
With the Cotton and Peach becoming major bowls now, if you aren't in the top 3 of the SEC, your bowl is going to suck major arse.
From what I gather, Georgia, Texas A&M, and LSU all aren't happy with their destination/opponent combo, whether the destination, the opponent, the time slot, or all of the above.
South Carolina and Florida have to go to Shreveport and Birmingham, respectively. I really doubt many people travel to those games.
Auburn might be happy with theirs? Idk though. Going to Florida over and over again for these big name SEC programs is getting kind of dull.
Basically, Missouri, Tennessee, and Arkansas are probably the only three I would guess that are thrilled with their bowl games (besides Alabama, Ole Miss, and State). And Tennessee is only because they never make a bowl anymore, and Missouri is because they're new to the conference and its bowl tie-ins and locations.
It pretty much sucks. Hopefully some new tie-ins are in the future. And yes, I know if LSU or the other teams were better they wouldn't have to worry about this. However, the SEC is deep, and it's hard to be in the top 3 every year. For some schools, it's hard to be in the top 3 every fifth year.
Just tired of shitty bowl games, in general. Maybe this is a small melt? Yeah, I'm fine with that.

Keep gathering, because you’re wrong. Best case in a shitty scenario. I’d recommend Surveymonkey.com in your pursuit of a morale survey
