Mrbroker: "Guy couldn't handle having an LSU fan in his section" How would they know he was an LSU fan? Ever heard of deductive reasoning?

I am sure you are the d-bag who likes to show up at OUR big games dressed had to toe in Bama gear just to show everyone that Bama is in the house.

Wylie, you are right. That was my first thought as well, but I can also see not looking at the gauge, because he just filled up prior to making the 1 hour drive to the game.

your dad is a pussy.

Needless to say they ran out of gas on the interstate in downtown Georgia.

your dad is a dumb-arse for running out of gas on the interstate. how do you not check your gas gauge every time you get in the car? it's like an automatic thing for me, plus the bright light is obvious.

No he doesn't. The SEC Championship game has fans from all schools (except Vandy) in attendance while wearing their school gear. I personally wouldn't wear mine, but to each their own.

my point coonarse was that no on deservers having their tank depleted of gas regardless of their team affiliation. And the OP never said he was in LSU colors. just said he was a fan..I don't go to away games

I'd like to hear the other side of this. There's always two sides to every story.

With your reasoning, what does it matter?

I'd say its more likely it was locals, not because of fandom. It has been a problem in the past. Hell I remember some guys going around the clubs in midtown doing it this summer.

How did they know they were LSU fans?

I'm under the understanding that cars are made with a screen built into the fill tube of the gas tank to prevent people from syphoning gas out.

I guess the bottom line is...every fan base has done this or had a story or two to tell about an opposing fan base. I was explaining this to my wife this morning. Every fan base has some shitty fans and it is what it is.

Im not talking about the gas...no way GA fans did this...where would they put a whole tank of gas? If even true, locals did it and you know it. I am talking about being heckled in the game.

Alot of this story sounds iffy, I'm just sayin'.

Oh and congrats on your win...beat ND

Yup, I have had my tires slashed, along with about 50 other cars, in auburn by a bama fan(he was arrested), had drinks thrown on us at Uga in 99', etc... And a few close calls at other places. Most are equal, some are slightly worse, but only because they are known to drink a little more.

Hell even in our section in auburn we have had to have security kick out some auburn fans. We are pretty tight knit in my section.

Your father should have talked to security, if it was an issue.

One of my german friends, that attended the game, didn't have a nice experience with opposing fans either.
He was close to the UGA section and everytime he cheered, the UGA fans would curse at and heckle him. After a while, he tried to explain to them that he was from Germany and was just a sports fan that now resides in Tuscaloosa. Their response, "Y'all lost WWII, go back to Germany you fricking Nazi."
The thing is, he would probably kick all their asses but, if he gets arrested, he gets deported and loses his job.

Every fan base in the SEC has complete idiots who pull stuff. Anyone who thinks their fan base is better than another is just oblivious and in denial. The worst thing I've ever seen UGA fans do was light Toomer's Corner on fire in 2010 after they lost to Auburn. Having said that, this was probably the locals. ATL is dangerous at night around there

This.

Also the gas was probably siphoned by some random thug.

Hell I had my truck stolen in Auburn during the Iron Bowl in 2003. I don't blame Auburn fans. I blame the thug who loaded it up on a tow truck and sent it to a chop shop.

So basically having a bad time sitting in the UGA section wearing LSU gear and then getting your gas stolen by an ATL thug is the fault of UGA fans?
