You just described Oregon.

Hell, Georgia isn't even the best team in the SEC East this season, and they're still getting a shot at the National Title.

Well if the gators had beaten us they would have gone, but they didn't.

Quit your bitching. Oregon isn't more deserving than we are. They didn't play a top 10 team all year. This schedule argument is weak.

His post was over long and filled with stupid mystery teams but he has a point I would say 5 teams have better resumes than Georgia..in the sec

But that's not how it works. Every team lost a game, some more than others and some more crucial than others. You cock fans cry now but you won't say shite next year because you have an even easier schedule than we did this year.

No more tahn bama deserves to play for NC, bama only tough test were LSU and A/M and they split. Georgia played Florida/Fl. St/S.C. and won 2 of 3.

When did Georgia play FSU?

it would be a travesty for the SEC champion not to play for the NC in today's college football world. the SEC is not only the defending champion but the 6 time consecutive defending champion. we are the best until somebody proves us not. i say "tough shite" to you and anybody else that doesn't like it. try beating us sometimes; that's the only way to prove me wrong. whining and bitching is just loser talk and if you are a man you will agree.

We choked, we blew it, and we dont think we belong there.

By the way you completely missed the point that if Georgia wins Saturday, they will have had two wins against top 10 teams. Our best win is against 15. Oregon State

LSU bitched slapped the Ducks last year. I'd imagine 4 or 5 could this year.

Not the same team we were last year at all. Much better offensively and defensively. We turned the ball over 4 times last year against LSU and continued to do so all year. Ducks have rarely turned the ball over this year, ball security is much improved.

I think Oregon has the offense and the defense to beat Alabama, LSU, or Georgia this year. However our non-existent kicking game would haunt us as it did with Stanford. You have to be able to score on every red zone opportunity and TDs will not be there on every red zone trip against a great defense.

Regarding the SC game...our TD drives against USC were about 90 seconds - 2 minutes long. USC had a lot of possessions because of how quickly our offense was scoring. The shoddy play of our defense was just an aberration. We were missing tackles left and right that we made all year. Even then we gave up about 42 or 43 I think, that last TD was a garbage time TD scored against our 4th string guys.

Stanford was our off game offensively, defense showed up in a big way. Our receivers were not executing on offense, they were missing blocks all night. One missed block in particular prevented a 77 yard run from turning into a 90 yard TD run. We ended up turning it over on downs in the redzone on that series, and that haunted us. RS Frosh QB also choked under pressure once Stanford tied it and tried to make the home run play instead of hitting the wide open receivers about 10 yards down field and moving the chains.

We still need to get better and more consistent in order to become a complete, elite team. We are definitely not there yet. This is a young team. Hopefully we take that step next year.

Didn't beat* a top 10 team all year. Yeah Georgia's loss was really bad, but if you guys win next week you would have beaten Florida and Bama to get there. There is no argument for Oregon over Georgia at all.

Didn't Georgia beat Florida? Why do you keep saying Georgia isn't the best in the east?

Yes, Yes they did. Sadly we couldve blown them out if we could score tds and not kick damn field goals in the red zone or have 6 TOS or Block Jarvis Jones(No one can do that) ...Miss tackle on Mitchell hurt too. Pisses me off thinking about that game

But UGA is easily deserving. No doubt it.

Are Ahmad Fulwood and Kelvin taylor here yet?

I'm not even butthurt or an Oregon fan. I live in the South, I voted for Romney, I watch SEC football on Saturday, and go to church on Sunday.

The truth is, Georgia had probably the easiest schedule in the history of the SEC. And not enough people realize it.

We have realized it for a long time. The same way we have realized Bama got in the SECG because of scheduling as well. It sucks, but LIFE ISN'T FAIR. You play by the rules, win or lose, that is the way it goes.

I'm looking forward another 10 yrs of Helen doing less with more with the mutts. Some good will come out of this.

Here is UF's noteworthy opponents from 08 (ranking at the time of the game)

vs. #4 LSU
vs. #6 UGA (Neutral Site)
vs. #25 South Carolina
@ #20 FSU
vs. #1 Alabama (SECCG)
vs. #1 Oklahoma (BCSNCG)

Ole Miss finished ranked in the top 15, and UF also played Miami that season.

Not even comparable.

At the end of the day, if we get to the mnc, we will have beaten UF and bama. Nobody else could match those 2 wins, except for Florida, who we beat.

So what you're saying is you could have blown us out if we just stood around and didn't do anything. Got it.

No hes not... Hes saying UF played its worst game of the season. Yeah, UGA played hard and deserved to win.

But don't act like all 6 UF turnovers were a cause of UGA playing great defense. Go rewatch that game.

I've seen it plenty. 4 of the turnovers were because of us, 2 of them were from y'all derping.

Are you serious? If UGA wins they will have defeated two top 10 teams! Oregon never beat anybody of that caliber. The best team they played was Stanford who beat them in their house! If the Dawgs win the SECCG they will play ND for the title and will deserve to do so.
