The lone survivor. Actually retiring instead of expiring. Seriously though, why does it seem like every year another Uga is being transitioned into the mascot role?
Was this a rhetorical statement thread rather than a question in hindsight?
Either way it's C- work.

A questionable first down with the ball on the final link of the chain rather than the pole happened in both games.

While I don't think it's comparable to a TD getting taken away on a phantom call, the SCAR first down incident was way worse and more blatant. Then clowney lowered the boom. Last years was 50/50, could have gone either way IMO.

Everyone knew the Michigan first down was bullshite. EVERYONE.
Only Georgia fans try and bring up the first down in our game.

Why would other people bring it up?

Splitting hairs, but neither call was close to as bad as the negated td.

Okay chief. A plainly obvious wrong first down call AFTER a measurement in the 4th quarter vs a judgement call during a live play

Talking about the impact of the mistake. Any screw up on the scoreboard is huge.

And a complete change of possession isn't huge in the 4th quarter when you're losing? At least UGA still had the ball to try and score anyways. If Clowney doesn't make the hit, we probably lose that game.

Huge or not, It's 7 points less of an impact.

Bulldogs only have a lifespan around 8 years.
Chickens only have a lifespan of about 6 months.
Actually, I've had a number of Gamecocks, the roosters, live over ten years and one, Einstein, live two months short of 14.
It's not uncommon for well kept roosters to live over eight years and hens to live over five.
Gamecocks are fighters by nature ... the royalty of their species.
Ugas are mouth breathers, inbred and pussified. But they're cute .... even if they are cruelly bred for weaknesses.

How many SEC mascots are eaten on a daily basis?
That's the real question here.

Well, not in America, but technically dogs...

We've had four Sir Big Spurs in 16 years. How many Uga's in the same timeframe?
Well, 1999 we introuduced 6, then 7,then 8, and 9 is retiring... so four.
Sorry it backfired.
