If Mullen really refuses to make a change, it is just a sign his ego is likely going to be his undoing.

First is UF an elite offense? I’d like this established before the game so the goal post don’t get moved later when the Gators score 10pts or less.

Second UF going to get skull dragged on Saturday no matter who they have at QB. 18 year old AR15 may have some Mike Vick/Cam Newton potential but not this year. And QB whisperer Cousin Eddie will play Emory Jones the majority of the game anyways. Get UGA -14.5 while you can it’ll be 21 by Saturday

Yes we have a true top 10 ranked 500 yards a game offense unlike anything you have faced up to this point. And no an outmanned Arkansas squad or a Bo Nix led Auburn offense doesn't count as a top notch offense.

As far as Richardson you better hope Mullen pulls that mess and plays Jones most of the game because Georgia fans are dreaming if they think they can hold a Richardson led offense to under 20 points.

We're not an elite offense. But we're pretty good, despite the fact that Emory can't read defenses or consistently throw accurate balls.

I think we could be elite with AR. He throws accurate balls and seems to read the field pretty well (his picks are usually from trying to make a hero play under pressure instead of throwing it away, because he's young and doesn't have many reps).

But we don't have a big enough sample size with AR yet. Plus our o-line needs to be healthy, they haven't been lately and our run game has really dropped off the last few games.

If our o-line is relatively healthy and AR plays I think we stress UGA's defense far more than anyone else has all year.

No way we overcome Grantham though.

Yes, and we still lose by at least 30.

I don't think Florida's defense can stop the Georgia offense. Not enough at least

Every single o-line starter has battled injuries since the Bama game.

It's possible but very improbable. It would have be a Mike Vick like talent to get the best out of this particular UGA defense.

I don't see how Florida keeps this close. Play Jones, the more experienced QB, and there will be mistakes all over the field because they won't be able to run on UGA's front 7. Play AR and still likely to be mistakes because it's his first start... and going against that defense is no joke. If Richardson isn't as much of a threat running the ball, can he find windows to throw? And he's already got 3 interceptions this year in only 37 passes.

Mullen being good in big games is a dumber lazier taker than Kirby being bad in them.

The norm?

What was his record in big games last year? 1-4

How bout this year.

What's his all time record vs ranked teams?

Richardson is a better runner than Emory lol. Better runner and better passer. This is why our fan base has been screaming for him all year.

His picks are usually when he's under pressure and tries to force something to make a play. Inexperience type mistakes. Emory's picks are in clean pockets making bad reads. I'll take the former.

Who cares about the W-L record, have you seen his play calls or total yards?

Most everyone who follows a CFB team.

Total yards vs LSU is really a feather in your cap?

ETA obvious sarcasm

I take more pride in how much we outgained Bama and Kentucky by, as does our lame duck ‘offensive genius’ coach. Wins and losses are forgotten but 382 total yards against Kentucky is forever

But folks still insist he's the QB Whisperer and Kirby Smart is the QB Mismanager.

Our opponents seem to have similar issues after playing us.

And anyone watching the Florida-Kentucky game knows that Florida should've scored more than 13 points.

Maybe. Georgia should have won the 2017 National Championship. Are saying we should get credit for that?

More to the point...if you have watched any of our games you could think our defense is every bit as good as many on here claim, too.

quote:

Florida will get stomped one way or the other by Georgia.

Again. I am not so sure. hey, it's all opinion at this point...and who knows? After the game we might be claiming we were better than the score indicated and Florida fans might be doing the same. That's the nature of college football.

quote:

I'm not sure if you're just trying to argue for the sake of arguing, but Bama and UK are both in the top 20 statistically in total defense. I'd say thats "good".
Only if you cherry pick which statistic you use.
There is no possible way anybody would consider Alabama's defense top 20.

Alabama is 34th in the country in points given up.
Florida is 39th fwiw.
Alabama is also 52nd in the nation in passing yards against.
They do show they are 6th in the nation in rushing yards against.

LINK

I mean, personally? I would much rather give up yards than points, but that's just me.

Ask an Alabama fan on the board what they think about their defense.
