I don’t think so. Mr Greg McElroy complained about our NIl benefit and then said the reason Jimbo blew up is so recruits next year don’t come in expecting good NIL deals.

I’m no rocket scientist, but if we had a 30 mil NIL fund in place. And it’s the reason we got these recruits. Why would stop doing it?

Wouldn’t it make more sense that we don’t have it Mr McElroy?

One recruit that made it clear he was looking for a great deal was Banks. One would think we would have room for a top tackle like him with a 30 mil fund for this class. I guess we low balled him.

Yet the most accurate and true just look at the record books and trophy case! Can you even try to argue it? No! So you’re welcome

The state has always produced good edge rushers and DL I feel like. Particularly from some schools and areas that are traditional strongholds for us (DeSoto, ETX). UT has struggled mightily recently developing DL which has only helped us land players

Terry Price is a great recruiter and has been around forever as well. Played at A&M and I don’t think has any desire to leave or move up. Jimbo added Elijah Robinson who is now one of top three or four recruiters in the country as the other DL coach. That’s why it’s kind of pushed into overdrive

It is either:

1.) A&M has a proven recent history of winning conference and national titles and these young men want to be part of that excellence.

OR

2.) There is some incentive that has nothing to do with success on the field that means a great deal to these young men.

It is what he does. It is all he has. Cut him some slack.

A&M has had some excellent defenses over the years, with good defensive coaches that sent a fair number to the pros. Linemen such as Brandon Mitchell, Jacob Green, Ray Childress, Sam Adams were All American DLs before Miller.

What is up with your reading comprehension? I made no remark about how successful or not a&m has been historically. My point is your comment is probably just a copy and paste of the same comments you've made on here 100 times the past month. It just seems lazy like the writer's room in a shitty friday night sitcom from the 90s. Even your response to me is a cut and paste that has nothing to do with what I said.

This is the only explanation for your 5th ranked recruiting class. Donghorns have delivered a decade of shlt.

And most recruits were 1 to 2 yrs old during you last national title….

But 17 and 18 during your last loss to Kansas…. At FOOTBALL…. AT HOME!!!!
