GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- National champion Florida will be without four more starters for the team's spring game Saturday.

Center Maurkice Pouncey, cornerback Janoris Jenkins and defensive linemen Carlos Dunlap and Lawrence Marsh were ruled out Monday.

Pouncey had shoulder surgery and will be sidelined three months. Dunlap and Marsh have abdominal issues and might need surgery. Jenkins injured a finger.

The Gators already were working this spring without guard Mike Pouncey, return specialist Brandon James, receiver David Nelson and running backs Jeff Demps and Emmanuel Moody. Coach Urban Meyer said the mounting injuries might force him to change the way he picks teams for the spring game.

TT will fill in for the missing players. No concern here.

I can't remember the last spring practice we weren't hemorrhaging players left and right. We had like 6 guys out, and TT was sick last year if I recall.

even with most of our studs sitting out, it will be more entertaining than that HS practice UGA put on last weekend

It's actually an improvement over last year's spring practice. At least (knock on wood) we haven't had any QBs need shoulder surgery or blown ACLs this year.
