Star is a bit much, Treon was only slightly behind Grier and has already started in a more hostile environment vs a better team, hell he's already beaten a top 10 SEC team as a starter (admittedly he did it LSU QB style).

Good to hear. We don't want any excuses after this game.

Everytime someone pointed out that maybe the Florida defense would just dominate, we were told about Bama-Ole Miss and how if Bama got 40 dropped on them Florida would be lucky to keep within 3 TDs. Then the game started.

Hey dumbass this was already explained. Florida strength is passing defense. Ole miss can't run the ball.
Bama's strentgh ISN'T pass defense. Ole Miss can't run the ball.

LSU can run the ball.

I'm not one to defend a Florida player, but the question asked was - "What's Fournette look like to you on film?"

This was the answer:

quote:
He's the best back in the league, um, you know, we're just gonna have to rally to the ball and tackle him. I think it's, you know, he's nothing that we can't stop, but we all do have to rally to the ball cause he's an excellent athlete.

Will LSUs fullback being out for the game any kind of impact on LF7 effectiveness?

Possibly but IMO, not that much. I expect to see a little more read option in this game. There will be more single back sets most likely.

LSU fans think an incomplete quote is somehow going to unleash the four horsemen

No Just Fournette.

quote:

or something

It's called Fournette. You'll get to know him better come Saturday.

quote:

and they act as if their Oline best that's ever lived

If you watch any film on LSU, you will be very impressed on not only the power, but the incredibly complex schemes we block with.

quote:

and that Fournette is some sort of greek god.

Greek gods actually worship Fournette.

quote:

That dude is awesome but he's not a mythological creature.

Agreed. He's something more impressive than a mythical creature.

quote:

Even Herschel was mortal.

Mortality has nothing to do with it.

And if you have a team that struggles in tackling at all, just wait for Guice... The kid breaks tackles in impressive numbers.

The back up, Mouton, is pretty good. Watch the highlights from the USC game and you'll see.

Also, our senior, 300lb, TE, Dillon Gordon, is back for this game. Was out with a hammy most of the season.

Fournette went for 140 on their azz last year in the swamp. I wouldnt expect less from him this year in Tiger Stadium. The beauty of it is we gonna see come saturday at 6pm. The world will be watching, who wants to be on a sportscenter highlight?

It is pretty hard to get 100 on a single carry

I'll raise a bet that Fournette gets at least 100 rushing yards. Feel free to detail the terms.

Backup FB (Bry'Keithon Mouton) just as capable. Most likely will see the same formations.
