Nice to see the SEC represent. Would love to see the ACC teams get knocked out this year.

I'm guessing the only other team in the SEC with a lax squad would be Mizzouri?

Congrats!

I actually like it when we talk about the other sports here besides football.

Keep us updated.

No lacrosse at Mizzou...I think our only "northern" sport is men's wrestling.

Pretty smart on florida's part to add women's lacrosse. Judging by the teams in the rankings they're bringing in a bunch of trust fund hoes

Dores say hello!

Technically they are not in the SEC, but in the ALC along with Johns Hopkins, Michigan, Northwestern, Ohio State, Penn State, and Vanderbilt. Since Rutger and Maryland are now headed to the B1G, methinks the B1G will now have a lacrosse conference of its own.

Possible entry from South Carolina and Georgia women would put 4 from the SEC and all in the east.

We have a club team. There were a few attractive ones when I was there.

UGA would be smart to start thinking about taking women's lacrosse to the varsity level, IMO

Unfortunately Title IX has men's lacrosse by the balls. It's a much more popular sport but can't spread on the college level because of the legislation

they need to open the wallet tho, and if they will not spend more on football, they will not spend more on other sports.

Yeah they're not likely to do it soon, but with the growth of the sport in Atlanta, they ought to begin considering it.

Men's lacrosse will be nearly impossible to bring to the SEC due to Title IX and the high number of athletes in football programs.
