Umm.....yeah. Don't be a shite. That's what other fan bases do. Take the Ls with the Ws and congratulate the winners on a well-deserved win. No need for that nonsense.

Our Home Game crew is about 75-125 depending on the game. For away games there are two other groups that merge with us of about the same size.

Obviously, not everyone travels but A&M is the big game.

There were somewhere around 400-425 at Bama...

Elleshoe... good luck on tickets. People aren't looking to sell anything unless its for way above market.

we'll see how the Ags get through Ark and Ole Miss and how we survive Auburn and UF. A loss or two here and there from either can hammer prices. Those field level seats have already dropped. People in the uppers holding out hope

The major fails in that article:

1. He considered Lone Star a Texas beer without even trying Shiner Bock.

2. He actually DRANK Lone Star.

No it isn't... at all. And Ole Miss is nothing like Texas. I won't get into that argument again, but the Mississippi schools are nothing like the Texas schools.

A&M and Mississippi State are nothing alike except for the color Maroon, Tha Kang being the HMFIC and having an Ag presence. Outside of that CS and Starkville are nothing alike and the student bodies are nothing alike.

Hell, A&M and Texas are more alike than Ole Miss and Texas. Upper-Middle class Suburbia kids with a few credit lines... I just described A&M and Texas in a nut shell. 1950s-1960s stereotypes stopped being true in the early 80s.

UF is pretty fun and its totally different from Ole Miss. You've got to remember that Ole Miss has gone pro in tailgating.

well the writer thinks that Florida has good tailgating, so I'm not sure how to take it.

I agree. As much as I hate those cocksucking motherfrickers, the student bodies of A&M and AssRape are nearly identical.

If you wanted to make a comparison in the SEC, I would say that A&M is more like UGA and Florida than anything close to MSU or Ole Miss. Same with AssRape.

I kept hearing from UF fans that outside of the countryside differences, Gainesville and CS were basically the same town.

Like I said, I can't really comment on that.

Here's a few more takes from Gators.

Gator Country

quote:

I will say College Station was one of my favorite road trips I have taken so far. Great town, great food, the nicest people Ive met on any road trip and the bar scene at Northagte can rival ANY college town!! The game atmosphere was good but was not as loud as some made it out to be. The stadium is wide open and I think the fans focus more on the cheers than they do causing communication problems for the opponents, but thats thier tradition! The tailgating before the game was good and every stop along the way we heard "Howdy Gators!", evidently Howdy has taken the place of Hello in Texas?!?

I hope we dont have to wait 10 years to go back with the new scheduling because I will 100% be back!

Glad to see my tailgate represented.

LSU fans are welcome to come by the southeast corner of Reed Arena for beer and a rivoting (and slightly dangerous) game of Nails. Beware of flying hammers.

This is the only thing that concerns me about the A&M roadtrip:

quote:

The Gator fans seats were located on both the east and west sides of the stadium, but were literally behind the bleachers in the end zone. Words can't describe particularly well, but take a look at the photo to the right of some of our group. They were standing in their seats and are turned with their back toward the field. See the stands over her shoulder? Those are what Gators were looking at if they looked straight ahead.

We'll be tailgating for every game including this weekend for SCSU, so you'll have plenty of opportunity to rectify your mistake of not joining in.
