In-depth interview with Finebaum just ended. Last name sounded like "Dewey" I believe. I've never attended the UF baseball field so I have no idea, but is he accurate? I know Bama's field was pretty far down the line until the recent magnificent upgrade, and is now considered to be a top five field nationally, not necessarily seating capacity, but all the other stuff.

That was Dooley and he is right.

UF is about to correct that though from what we're hearing.

It's really bad, but it can't be worse than Missouri's right?

I know nothing about their field though

Yep, Dooley indicated that the new AD is looking to upgrade the facility.

its not worse than mizzous. their outfield looked like a lake well over an hour after a rain when we played this year

He's forgetting about (or never been to) Missouri, but that is probably the sole exception. The stands have no cover, and more seats looking into the sun than on the west side of the field. Watching the super regional against Wake, I was surprised to see mud in the outfield--you don't usually see that with a modern, sand-based drainage system, which made me wonder if UF doesn't have state of the art drainage, or if they just do a poor job with it.

The field is fine, the stands and concessions need to be upgraded. I would recommend reducing the capacity to about 3,000 and putting in recliners along with selling beer delivered by Hooter girls. This would increase the demand for tickets and keep the stands full for games.

Mizzou's is tiny, but is it really that bad? I thought they renovated when they joined the SEC and their clubhouse looks pretty nice at least.

I don't care all that much if it's delivered to me by a Hooter's girl or if I have to go to the concession stand to get it, but the SEC needs to cut out this bullshite about not selling beer in the stadiums.

A stadium with a 3000 capacity will only be 1/4 full of Florida fans.

Either O'Sullivan gets a stadium renovation or the rumors to USCe will move quick once Omaha is over.

USC, where ex Gator coaches go to end their careers in failure.

We can debate between these 5 and MSU. MSU is probably not in it now, but will be #1 once they finish.
Arkansas
LSU
South Carolina
Texas A&M
Ole Miss

From off the top of my head, UNC & Clemson has decent parks from the ACC. I'm excluding minor league parks otherwise I'd go with Nebraska and maybe Missouri St.

Going back 10 years, Fla and Vandy have the most baseball talent in the country.
At least Vandy has a title to show for it.
Still amazed Fla has not won one yet, even though they've gotten close.
