Ray is a Junior. Some think he'll go top 5. Ray hasn't ever commented publicly on the NFL but Pinkel will tell him to go if he is going to be a top 10 draft pick.

I personally hope we take out an insurance policy for Ray and talk him into staying!

Saban and Mullen were deserving as well, but Pinkel getting this roster to 10 wins and an SECCG appearance was nothing short of spectacular.

Good for Coach Pinkel! Well deserved!

And as far as Shane Ray, I see no chance he's in a Mizzou uniform next season. I'd love to be wrong. But I'm not.

Not when you take into account that only 2 teams in the SEC East had more than 6 wins. That other team with more than 6 wins beat Mizzou by a score of 34-0.

I would have voted for Mullen. But I guess they figured he's already up for national coach of the year.

Sorry Nicky didn't win. If it makes you feel better, I'm positive that Pinkel voted for him

Congrats to Coach Pinkel! I have even more respect for the Mizzou Nation after meeting and talking to many Mizzou Tiger fans in Atlanta. I enjoyed telling the Mizzou fans, "so are y'all going to start getting your mail forwarded to the ATL since you have been in the SEC Championship two years in a row?"

I'd have given it to Mullen before Pinkel. He won 10 games in a much more competitive division.

They didn't play anybody! I would give it to Mullen or Saban.

We did great for the personnel we had. Well deserved.

we returned about 11 starters and another 5 or 6 with very significant playing time, that said, SEC depth! still a good job by the staff to get this much done.

That is what beating one team with a winning SEC record in two years will get you.

Congrats to GP!

Doesn't matter if east was down, Mizzou probably had less recruiting talent and lost more from last year (other than TN) than rest of division. Before rivalry weekend, east was ranked the 3rd toughest division in CFB. Don't know what happened after that....but Mizzou won the Battle Line!

You may recall, Mizzou was picked to finish 4-5th in division.

Eh...Mizzou lost more than everyone else from last year not named Tennessee.

People forget about that. How many starters on offense did all the other teams lose?? Hardly hear about teams winning 9-10 games after losing pretty much all of their starting offense. And it showed for Mizzou, offensive production was waaaay down compared to other years.
