I have watched Pinkel coach Mizzou since he started. Drinkwitz is a better recruiter and coach

Actually, outside of a few all knowing message boards, his seat wasn't even warm. Most folks knew that 2023 was the initial target year for results, and so it proved. Had 2023 gone bad, then the seat would have started heating up.

I like Drink, but he got a delay of game before a field goal at least once. He hasn't proven he can recruit/develop/coach up a star QB. Pinkel turned our program from always getting blown out by Nebraska or shooting ourselves in the foot to stomping them.
He got distracted by an affair and it took his eye off the ball at the end. Hoping for great things from Drink, but he isn't a better coach than Pinkel at this time.
Recruiting is debatable, considering NIL.
