He is right, but you don't say these things before a game. You don't want to give your opponent any extra motivation to beat you.
One could say that TCU could sneak up on LSU this game because it means more to them than it does to LSU, but comments like this will fire LSU up and take that edge away.

Patterson knows better than to let his team vote because they would probably be too high to do so.
The guy's team was part of an undercover drug sting in which only 3 or 4 guys took the fall. Yet he has the time to worry about the discipline of other programs.
LSU doesn't have a discipline problem in that it has less issues than most programs. It just happens LSU problems have involved their stars. If anything, LSU may have a punishment issue.
