What impresses me is how the replay, during his commentary always has a good view of the part of play that us regular folks didn't pay attention to. It's almost like CBS has a team full of knowledgeable people, watching different aspects of the game and feeding that information to Danielson. You know, like a company capable of a high level of production can do.

I've seen Gary read the defense, then call out the offensive play before they ran it. But that just means he was a good QB. He went straight from the NFL to the broadcast booth. He's never coached on any level. Dumb rumor.
