Will the near endzone connect to the left side, too?

Yes, the entire stadium will be connected and rounded off once the former student side is rebuilt. For now it looks like 3 sides are ganging up against the last.

Again, the stadium is halfway through construction where an entire side will be torn down and rebuilt. Symmetry will not be visible until it is complete.

Yeah it's a bit strange to have one side brick and the other side not but I really doubt that affects recruits.
mainly because recruits understand that side is getting renovated next year

Baylor spent half of what you did and their facility looks so much more elite. Then again, their football program is more elite.

gaylor facility holds less than half as many fans as that is all they need.

Bo Wallace gonna have piss running down both legs when he sees that Aggie D coming after him with 106,000 Aggies yelling their arse off.

No you're right. I remember hearing how Kenny Hill initially loved A&M when he saw the phase 1 renovations, then he went to the other side and didn't see a brick facade so he was going to commit elsewhere. Luckily, Sumlin informed him of the impending bricking of all of Kyle Field. Hill's commitment was assured.

McLane is a legit nice stadium. Small but really nice. I drive by it a few times a month. And I live .5 miles from McLane.

A friend from church told me he sailgated last night and said it was awesome. Kids swam in the river, grilled, they docked, and walked 200 yards to the stadium. Walked to the boats and puttered home.

Said tailgating will never be as awesome again.

That being said...

They're on the upswing for sure, but they are where Harbaugh was after 2 years at Stanford now.

What? A frick ton of people here act like kyle field has completed its renovations when its only half way done. The east side has been completed but the west and north haven't. Those will be ready for the start of next year.

I know. If you reread my original post I was indicating at how nice the renovations were and how great it is going to be for A&M future in the SEC in terms of getting talent. Even though the facades don't match that sort of thing doesn't impact recruits at all, though it gets fans in a rustle.

And built a new stadium which is often cheaper than renovating an old one.

Besides they DECREASED their seating capacity. The new Toilet on the Brazos is less than half the seating capacity of Kyle.

But it will match next year. That's what I'm saying. The facade doesn't match right now, but it will next year
