Don't know what to tell ya, dude...that statement doesn't exactly confirm the claims of "a lotta insiders"...

And it nullifies it somehow?? A member of your staff , the HC's son is telling y'all to expect a few more not gettin in... Thats prolly a little more damning than a few UGA homer insiders making claims...

Whatever... Good luck with them... Just yankin your chain...

The Cack fans were pretty confident in my thread and in this thread about how their CBs/DL will perform this year. I'm interested to see how it plays out over the first 3 weeks of the season.

If S.C. is thin at corner then they will have a tough time against aTm holding Sumlins offense down. I expect to see a bit more of his Houston style of passing game this year.

If Sumin comes out throwing in the first game of the season, with a freshmen, on the road, USC will run away with it.

He said not all of them will make it in, possibly. So of Lammons, Green, and Smalls, Lammons and Green make it in, but Smalls doesn't.

That totally supports what Bubba said, but doesn't do a damn bit of good to what your "insiders" said about Lammons and Green, does it? Either way it would be a huge blow to our class as CB is a position of need and we had tremendous talent incoming with those guys. But it won't kill us: if those guys were already on campus and taking classes, we'd still have questions at CB because everyone is basically unproven more or less, so nothing changes there. Didn't see it previously posted.

I just feel like first game of the season when they're feeling things out, our game is a trap game. They are favored big, and have the huge home winning streak.

Their 2 big weakness against our 2 biggest strengths (OL & Deep WR)

I have no doubts they will be able to score on us, so first one to 50 wins?

Some people (not you) get so into tearing one team down, that they forget about issues those other teams also have to deal with...

The smart ones already expected there to be some offensive fireworks in the USC - TAMU game. Sumlin is an offensive master, and regardless of any issues they may have on offense, he'll come out swinging away just the same.

But we all also know about the Aggie's own issues on defense, and it's most likely more substantial than our own at CB. USC will be returning most all of it's offense intact and expect to do a little offensive damage of it's own. The Aggies will have questions at QB as well as newcomers at WR too, so USC won't necessarily be out-manned in our season-opener. TAMU finds out about the Williams-Brice mystique for the first time, and that should easily be the decision-maker....

Get yo panties outta yo crack...FWIW, I hope they all get in & get an opportunity to better themselves, whether it's on the field or in the classroom...

Coaches get to work with players in summer now. Freshman QB is not the concern it once was.

From the bio's I read of USCe DB's, get ready to watch them be savaged.

I don't think y'all know what you're getting into. Columbia will be a damn hornets' nest week 1. It will be loud, hot, humid, and just generally unpleasant.

A&M with a TFr. QB will not "savage" them, no matter who plays DB for them.

But it will still be his first collegiate game, in the SEC, against a team that has won the last 18 games in their 80,000+ stadium. No coaching is going to prepare him for that.

We have a chance to lose, but I don't anticipate anybody getting savaged. It's going to be hot as hell, loud, and hostile.

Won't be any louder than BDS and Aggies won there with a freshman QB.

The "Black Death" is working the Aggies in the heat right now.

This Bryce Williams "mystique" don't mean chit to an SEC West team.

Those small young corners are gonna be Savaged with a capital S.

That's very debatable. BDS isn't that loud. That was also a mega-talented RFr QB who at that point had almost a full season under his belt.

Also that was like the 8th game of the season. And Allen is no JFF.

Al Harris Jr is gonna be awesome for you guys. He is as technically sound as any CB I have ever seen outta high school. Your depth at DB may be an issue in the second half of the season but not game one. Also isn't Bryson Williams gonna play CB? I've also read that Y'all are loaded at safety and your hybrid safety/LB spot. What do Y'all call it?
