no bias there right?

Of course not. Great comeback last night. That closer you have there is a bad man.

Price loves a packed house with runners on. I just wish he could get us point a to point b without the dramatics. Today should be interesting with our third starter just now coming off an injury. I hope he's on his game because I have feeling we will need it. You guys have a good club.

It's very solid for #3 in the conference, without a doubt

I don't see that at all...from outside i'd say top five are:
Bama
UGA
UT
AUB/LSU too close to call even though LSU is larger

Until Auburn is able to plaster their entire outfield fence with ads, I'd have to give LSU the edge.

You found an unflattering picture taken by someone with an old instamatic camera. The fact is the inside of Carolina Stadium (the Ray), Baum and the Box all look pretty much the same in photographs. This is a more flattering angle of the Box (with more appealing sky and lighting as well) than your picture of the Ray. You can still see that the configuration behind home plate is much the same in all three. None of us have towering 50,000 seat ballparks like MLB.

I will say the Ray looks smaller from outside because the stands and playing surface are dug into the ground rather than build up. There is not much height on the outside as the concourse is at ground level.

I think Baum gets the edge over the Ray because it's bigger with more luxury suites. The only advantage the Box has is being taller than the Ray and Baum on the outside. That advantage is more than offset by the open girders and aluminum bleachers. Unlike some, I like the ads on the outfield wall as it adds character.

The Ray is all chairbacks except for a set of bleachers above the left field wall which were deliberately put there for atmosphere. The Ray also has some interesting outfield features like a mini green monster and a grassy berm for fans to sit on.

The suites now go to the end of the grandstand on the 1st and 3rd base lines. They were added before this season.

I agree with pretty much everything you said.

I like Alex Box, but I think the LSU powers that be could have made some slight changes to some things to make it look a little better. They also could have spent a few more dollars and done away with all the bleacher seats and put in chairbacks.

Of course, I like Baum and what I think sets it apart is suites from foul pole to foul pole and chairback seating all through the stadium. After the next expansion, there should be no question as to which is the nicest in baseball.

Take nothing away from LSU and Carolina, those are very nice places.
