Right next to stadium is a huge, and I mean huge new green space called Carolina Park, or Old Farmers Market (goes by both), with not only reserved tailgate spots, but large open areas for anyone to visit with refreshments, tents by TWC with TV's, seats etc., sometimes live music etc etc. That is where you go to tailgate. Beautiful new area that cost tens of millions to build and is a huge success past two years. As for parking, pay your 10-20 bucks for any of several paid lots within a mile of stadium, get there early and you can park real close. Get there anywhere after three hours before kickoff, you will be a mile away. After parking, go to the public area of the Farmers Market next to stadium and enjoy.

Well if you're talking about 08, yall did not "beat that arse" and you don't know what you're talking about because there are a ton of new tailgating areas.

Plus that is the hottest game I've ever been to, so you can't really use that as the standard temp for games in September

Also, if you are a smooth talker and friendly, you will see several private "tailgate clubs" with bands, covered party spots, VT's etc., maybe you schmooze your way in, if you are real slick, you will walk up to the caboose area and party there as well, they are all nice folk, fear not. But you will have no problem walking into the new farmers market tailgate area and partying in the free/open to public area that has tents from many corporate sponsors like TWC etc

You're on the railroad?

Don't post a number ... just give me a general idea where on the railroad. I've got to know you. Did you come to the last association meeting?

We're right behind the stadium. I can throw jelly beans off the Southeast ramp and land them on our canvas cover when we're leaving our seats after the game.

Taterhead gonna taterhead.

You gave yourself away.

Plus you lied about the water. lulz

You've obviously not been to our place in years ... if ever.

We've got some of the finest tailgating facilities in the country between The Fair Grounds and Carolina Park. Even Key Road and some of the other areas are above average.

And our tailgating continues to up the standards every year.

Bring a pop-up tent and plenty of beverages. It's the South. It's hot. Hottest game I ever attended was 2001 in Athens I think it was. The Brian Scott TD catch game. People were puking and slipping around in the concourses inside Sanford it was so hot.

Been taking Garnet & Black (and now white) Jelly Bellies to my seats for the better part of the past 30+ years. It's tradition. It's good luck.

They know my order when I walk in The Peanut Man. They have it waiting for me. I stock the Cockaboose every week.

Wild Blackberry
Dr Pepper
Black licorice
Black Cherry

Red Apple
Raspberry
Strawberry Daiquiri
Cinnamon

Coconut
Cream Soda

I get the tradition part, but the luck part took forever don't you think?

I found luck in them somewhere, always. Maybe not during the game but after the game. And my kids used to love them too in those days.

I've been lucky in life ... I really have.

I love that new projection system they installed below the new signage on the press elevator. I was watching them change pictures the other night and it was cool as heck.
