The cast "forces Egbubu to shoot with his fingertips more". You know, like you're freaking supposed to....

If we don't win it this year with our lineup..... I'm not sure if I can ever hope again.

The talent is there, but I'm still a little scared about our pitching. Thankfully Arrieta balled out last year. Lester was solid but underperformed IMO. Our 3-4 pitchers were up and down all year.

Bullpen wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be.

I actually really like our staff going into the year. I think Haren would be a 3-4 slot starter on most rotations. If Lester can actually pitch like an ace, I like what we have in the starting 5, and you're right about the bullpen. Ended up being very solid. Even if the pitching isn't stellar, our lineup 1-9 is easily the best in the majors. No way we should not be winning slugfests if it comes to that.

True, but if we can cut down on our strikeouts and have better plate discipline(younger guys) I really like our chances to win it all.

Terrible way to end the half. Bad effort, sloppy defense. No real direction on offense. Typical unfortunately.

Bingo. That comes with experience, though. If there's one thing I have full faith in, it's the coaching. The super rookies will mature. The one thing I'm afraid of is a team-wide sophomore slump.

The 905 game 3 pointer made streak is on the line.

I feel like we missed every open shot in the half court other than Hannahs.

No 3pt fg's is not good. Our half court sets are too lethargic.

Hopefully we can make some adjustments and come out hot.

For sure.

I'm crossing my fingers on Kyle Schwarber. If he can play equal to last year that would be awesome. The kid was a BEAST.

I'm still waiting to wake up from that dream. The kid just came into the majors and belted MLB pitching like it was soft toss immediately.

Went to high school with Moses, always cheer for him and the Hogs except against OM. Glad to see him having a great year.

Yea. I enjoyed watching him play more than anybody else on the team.

He just has "it"

Kris Bryant is getting there, but Schwarber would have easily passed him up on offense if he had played all year.
