Vandy missed the SEC tournament the 10 previous seasons before Corbin arrived. Definition of a dead program.

To be fair, and nobody jumped on Mewbourne on Vandymania like I did in '01 and '02, they did make the one game elimination in 1996 in the old pool play format the first year they eliminated the crazy divisional tournaments. And,they got hosed in '98 with Hunter Bledsoe being declared ineligible for some odd transfer rule.
I actually wrote Brad Bates ,the asst AD at the time a letter in 2002 practically begging him to fire Mewbourne.

Apart from the Rav K and the Norwood HR in the title game last year, the biggest moment in Vandy baseball history.

Yeah. It's a little weird watching TAMU handle us to the tune of 6-1 before blowing out Bama 16-1 the next day.
